Obagi Medical CLENZIderm M.D. Pore Therapy Acne Treatment

I've had clear skin all my life and started breaking out a little over a year ago. I know that's not a long time but I honestly couldn't stand it and had to find something to fix it. I got topical prescriptions, tried a million over-the-counter solutions, diet solutions, etc.... nothing really too drastic but I tried A LOT and nothing worked. I randomly found out about Clenziderm and tried it because of all the reviews and it is the best thing I could have done. I've been using it for about a month and yesterday, I went outside with no makeup on for the first time in over a year!!! It is a miracle product. There are a couple things that people should know about before going into it though, because I went through some things while first using the product that, if other people experienced them, may deter people from seeing the product all the way through to the clear skin part! It definitely dries your face out when you first start using it. I didn't start using the system twice a day until I was about 3 weeks in, and even then, I don't use the lotion twice a day because that, for me, is what really did the dried out my face. I use a good moisturizer with it during the day after everything has dried/settled on my face just to counteract the drying effect, and ever since I started doing that I don't really see flakes on my skin during the day. All that said, I don't care about a little temporarily dry/flaky skin when I get results as good as these. I haven't seen too many other people post about this, but after about a week of using the product, I had a huge flare up of acne. Prior to this, the acne I got was always the under the skin kind, but this flare-up was huge, red, painful bumps all over my face. It was awful and lasted about a week and a half but then everything subsided. I like to think that it was just my skin purging itself due to the new treatment maybe? But it did go away and now my skin is clear. Not the worst thing to endure for 1.5 weeks to get to the end result. I'll definitely be purchasing this system again to help maintain the results I'm seeing already!

I am 43 years old and have suffered with cystic acne for the past 3 years. I have tried topicals, antibiotics and was prescribed Spironolactone for over 18 months finally at my breaking point I was prescribed accutane or Absorica. for 7 months October 2015 to May 2016. Sadly in July 2016 my acne returned in full force. I was recommended this product by my Esthetician. This has been nothing short of a miracle for me. When you begin using the product you will dry out and your skin will peel. Stick with it, your skin will adjust. My pores are no longer congested and I am completely amazed at how flat my skin has become. I am currently in my third month and rarely have a breakout. I have one cyst that has been on my chin for over 2 years, accutane didn't touch it, I have had it injected with cortisone 5 times and nothing. But with this ...it has started to shrink and flatten out. I am so impressed with this product. It is expensive but worth it. If you are struggling with acne, give this a try. I tried everything, and I mean everything. Hoping you will see the same results I have! :)

I really can't recommend this product enough! I have struggled with acne and oily skin for as long as I can remember and nothing has ever worked for me as well as Obagi. I have tried everything from Proactiv to dermatologist prescribed products ranging from antibiotics, retinols, and other topical creams. My dermatologist even considered putting me on accutane to which I refused. I became increasingly frustrated by the fact that not even prescription products were working for my skin so I began researching other products and I'm very glad I came across Obagi. Not only has it treated my acne but it has also helped cut back on my very oily skin. It even cleared up a patch on my jaw that I couldn't get rid of for months, even after my dermatologist injected it with cortisone shots. The 5% BP can be very drying, but if you (like me) are buying this product, your skin is probably already used to its fair share of harsh products. I went from using once a day to morning and night in less than a week and find that using a green tea moisturizer works great at preventing dryness and redness. It has by no means cured me from acne completely (much of my acne is hormonal), but it has worked better for me than any other over the counter or dermatologist prescribed product has and has freed me from embarassing skin. Would definitely recommend!

I don’t know if many can tell a difference but I’m 30 and I’ve struggled with cystic acne in high school, then went on accutane when I was 25 and that was the only thing they ever gave me the privilege of ZERO breakouts. I don’t know what life is like without acne or breakouts unless I was on accutane. Well I’m a mom now and pregnant so accutane is not an option. THIS is the first time I haven’t had breakouts the whole time I’ve used it. My skin is smoother and I don’t have any active acne

I have adult acne, I've been seeing my dermatologist for over 4mths now, and she recommended clenziderm. I've been getting chemical peels and this system helps w/my acne. I've had to order online since the place I go to is moving to a new location, so until they get settled I'll have to wait to see my derm. In order to buy more on contact. My acne has flared up again, while using ortho patch Jan 2014, and money was an issue so I ordered online to find this kit cheaper. I like this kit, its pricy yes, it'll burn your face when you first start using it, but this is only system that's shown progress with my acne. My acne is year round, drinking water don't help me, I'm a healthy eater, I work out, I just always have had acne. Only bad thing FOR ME: (1) pricey Hopeing now that using ortho evra patch my face has flared up BAD that this kit can help. Will see and ordering online cost me more than in the store so I won't order online again.

Growing up, I almost never got pimples. Even as an athlete, I rarely ever got a blemish. Once I turned 19 my face broke out like crazy with no explanation. I wasn't eating unhealthy and my doctor said all the hormone tests they did showed no irregularities. I was baffled and my self esteem took a hit. I was a grown woman with acne. How could this be?! I spent many years trying different products (you should use a product for a minimum of 6 months to know it's true effectiveness FYI). I tried all the over the counter acne washes. I tried many painful procedures, facials, and harsh chemicals. Eventually I discovered the Clinique Acne Solutions system which worked wonders for a couple years! But then when I approached 24 years old, the acne flare ups started again. My cousin introduced me to the very pricey but very effective Obagi Clenziderm System. I used to purchase these products at a very reputable beauty spa. However, driving 3 hours round trip and paying $200 (WITH a discount) was no longer sustainable. I'm so glad I found the entire system here on Amazon! These are authentic products. I highly recommend it to anyone suffering with acne. I know first hand how frustrating it can be to find something that works but even more frustrating when your miracle product is no longer performing. Do yourself a favor and TRY Obagi. It's worth it! Also, I believe Clenziderm is going through a repackaging phase so that may be another reason this product is sold so affordably on Amazon. Either way, I am a happy customer! I've also noticed that these products are sold individually with is convenient as I always run out of the moisturizer the fastest. I noticed some people's reviews mentioned they received all 3 products but they were not in the case. Mine came in the box. Very professional. TIP: I put the toner in a travel sized spray bottle and spray 1 time on a cotton pad. That's all you need! Plus it saves the product.

I don't know what miracle is in these bottles but it reduced up my severe cystic acne in three days and completely cleared it in two weeks. This product is better than any prescription I received from my dermatologist. Make sure you wait 10 to 15 minutes after applying the face wash before proceeding to apply the other products. I am going to sign up for a subscription to make sure I never run out.
