As someone who spends a fair amount of time in the kitchen, comfort is paramount. The padded seats on these barstools are also incredibly comfortable. Well packed, good sturdy stools. Look more expensive than they were. Easy to assemble. Only fault is that they do slide a bit on the floor when I get on, but a lovely pair of bar stools
