Wasn't sure if these would work well or not, but they do. Strong force and fit perfect on my 2008 Tundra. The hood rises without me having to do anything but lift the latch. Pulling the hood down to close it is a little effort but it works great.

Exactly what I needed to keep the hood up and not hitting me in the head. It snapped into place quickly and easily. It fits and works as if it was the original equipment.

2011 Tundra : Had to do a little mod on one due to the existing support but they took about 15 mins to install and seem to work good, so for the price and speedy delivery I say they are a ‘Good Buy’! Note: I had to use attachment ends from old rods at upper ends.

This was a perfect fit for my 2004 solara. I had to purchase and return hood shocks 3 times on Amazon before I found these. Too many companies claim exact fix but don't deliver. Amazon needs to do a better job of vetting thier sellers.

works great and easy to install on a 2010 tundra. Prop the hood open use a small flathead to pry off the metal retaining clip on both ends of the old strut. Pop them off Screw the plastic end onto the new one Pop the new one on with the fat side of the strut on top.

So far so good, OEM attachment and fit

Seems to work just fine.
