RYOBI ONEAND 18V Cordless 3-1/4 in. Planer Tool ONLY with DUST Bag P611

This worked better than I expected. I got it to level off a stump for an anvil and it easily ate through the oak stump and gave me a level surface to mount the anvil on. I have used it several other times since then but just for the stump work, it was worth it!

I was in need of planer for my wood work project and this came to save the day. This is a great tool for its price. It is Ryobi so you know it works well will last long. It does get pretty hot (noticeably) when you use it for prolonged time - it wasn't hot enough to think it'd catch on fire or anything so no worries there. It does have depth adjustment and works well. Very easy to operate.

This Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless 3-1/4 in. Planer is light weight and easy to operaate. I works well and and integrates with other Ryobi One Plus tools eliminating the need for multiple chargers and different batteries. Good Value.

Never had an electric hand planer before. Came in manufacturers box inside amazon box, able to register via contained info.Much heavier than anticipated but well balanced with battery in place. Works as noted in other reviews. I imagine blade change is similar for all brands as blades fit all similar models. What a hokey system. Loosen three bolts " but not too loose or blade alignment might change" . How loose is too loose? Is this a new technical term ? Instructions also talk about pushing with a screwdriver and beating with wood! Good lord. This is a tool Ryobi. You do not attack it with weapons. Here you go: loosen three bolts, attempts to slide carrier out. If stuck tap front right edge of carrier with small punch. Continue slide out. If bolts catch, loosen more. When out, tap blade held in gloved hand on wood, remove blade, insert new. If really stuck, pry off rear plate of carrier and reinstall. Many vids available. Pictures and text in ryobi instructions not very clear. Tool is top notch otherwise.

I ran this tool hard all summer without giving it a break, going through up to six 4Ah batteries per day. Despite the heavy use, it never bogged down and the blades are still good. Solid performance and great durability — exactly what you expect from a serious tool.

Great tool

So much easier to use than a corded version and convenient if you already have Ryobi tools and batteries. Used it to plane some sticking doors and it did a great job. Saved its cost in one use compared to getting a carpenter in to do the job.

This planner works really nice. Nice smooth consistent cuts. I've had it for a few months now and i'm happy with it. Even set a maximum depth the cuts are clean.

Only used once but seems to do the job.

Works just like my corded planer, but with the added convenience of cordless, take it anywhere without a cord to hold you back or tangle up
