Western Chief Printed Tall Waterproof Rain Boot

I bought these for our lovely rainy season and to take care of my chickens. They were great boots til about three weeks into wearing them there was a crack in the seam from the boot to the sole. And now I can't return them because the window closed before I could and it happened right after that. I only got to enjoy them for three weeks, that isn't great for this boot. I am a little disappointed. Maybe if amazon reads this and sees the picture they will let me return them. It was obvious to me that it was a manufacture defect in the boot.

While I love the look and fit of these boots, they are not sturdy at all. After only 4 months, the side of the boot was already cracking in a few places (see photos). One of the more annoying issues was that every time you take your foot out of the boot, the foot pad comes out. The covering on the foot pad also came off, and the interior of the boot appears to have water stains. I'm not sure how that happened, since I don't walk in water, I only use these to clean out an animal pen. These boots are definitely not waterproof, but seem to be water resistant...until the sides crack. Having said this, because I love the fit, I will order one more pair and see how they hold up. Hoping my next pair lasts longer.

I love the rubber boots. I wear a size 6 M. These seem a little large, even with socks. I have skinny legs. I put these in last buckle hole. There’s plenty of room to stuff my pants legs inside boot. Only worn in house a little while. I bought these for gardening. Too cold at present time for me to do that, but expect in the next few weeks to try them out in the yard. I read so many different reviews I grew dizzy!! Some said too large, others too small, some said perfect!! I just took a chance when I grew tired of going from one company to the next and comparing. The true test will come when I go outside and actually use them for what I intended, gardening. At present time I would say I’m very pleased. The polka dots are so cute!! I’m not young anymore, but I still like cute things. I believe I will look stylish preforming some dirty work!! Also, I will feel safer! Did I mention I’m deathly afraid of snakes?!!! That’s the true reason I bought them. They come up higher than many others!! I’m from the South, snakes like my yard, or at least I imagine that they do!!!!

I received these rain boots on December 4th 2018. In less than 2 months, these rain boots have cracked and torn on the left inside of the shoe. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT get these! I live in the south currently where the "winter" season is really rain and maybe a low of 40 degrees! Since receiving them, I have worn them to my office in the morning when it rains- about 3x a week- to then switch out to my work shoes. They are on my feet less than an hour a day and they have already cracked and ripped!!! It currently read I have passed my window to return- and it is February 23rd 2019!! never again

I normally wear a size 8 medium shoe, but I ordered a 9 in these because I wanted to wear heavy socks with them. They fit a bit large, but I expected that and I had rather them be a little large rather than too small. Rather than buying them to use in the rain I really purchased them so that I can go out in my back yard AFTER a rain. I had bad drainage and paid quite a bit to have shallow drainage ditches put in at the edges of my yard and lined with large rocks. I have to go check occasionally to be sure leaves haven't piled up in my drainage and stopped proper water flow. Anyway, I've only used them once so far but they were just great. The soles a nice and heavy and the tops are large and loose enough that I can easily tuck my pant legs into the top of the boot. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I ordered a size 9 but normally wear a size 8.5 shoe. I wanted extra room in case I wanted to wear 2 pair of socks. Turns out I like 1 pair of socks with wiggle room if my toes get cool.I wore these in cool (temp 40°F), wet ,muddy conditions and took a short hike in them (down to a waterfall) without issue. Boots were comfortable. If my toes got cold I’d wiggle my toes around and push them back away from the edges to warm them up.Was able to drive in them without issue.Will wear these more to see how they last and update.

Ordered these beautiful floral rainboots. I have had short ankle boots that were similar but cost quite a bit more. The boots came quickly. They looked exactly like the picture. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe. So I ordered a 8 boot since they don't come in 1/2 sizes. Took them out of the box. Put on some light weight socks and put on the boots. I was worried they might be too tight or small. My foot fit in with no problem. I walked around in them and they are a little bit looser than my old boots were. I found that if I wear a more plush sock or footie that they work better. I went out walking in the rain and enjoyed splashing in the puddles. No leaks and my legs stayed dry up to just under my knees. I am 5'4'. Love, love, love my boots. So glad I bought them.

Rainboots looks nice but too small. Make sure you order a size up (since they don't come in half size increments.). Amazon will not replace the rainboots in a different size; they would process a return and you need to purchase again hoping the price is the same. Otherwise, the tone is suck it up and pay for the higher price since the price went up since I purchased the item 3 days ago; or wait until the price goes down again.

I was a bit dubious about the fit of the boots as I ordered a size 5UK and a 4.5UK turned up. However they fitted perfectly so they were the correct size.

Comfortable from first wear, good grip

Disappointed. I bought a size 10 so I could squeeze a thick sock in the colder months. My calve is 15.5 inches and they “dig in” and leave a red mark. Even more disappointing the heel on the left boot has a click sound and the inside moves when you walk on it. I also had to glue the insoles in as they would move. On the positive:It is a super fun design! And look great.

These boots are so cute!! Love them. They're exactly what I expected.The only complaint is that the sole of the right boot seems to stick to my foot when I try to take the boots off, resulting in the sole bunching up. I think it needs to be glued better to the bottom of the shoe. It's a small inconvenience. Otherwise I can't complain!

I love these boots... the fit, the colours, the height... unfortunately I am on the 3rd pair as all have split within weeks of light walking use. My feet are cold and wet every time I use them. Big bummer cause they're cute as ever and I get heaps of compliments on them. I've given up shipping a new pair, I'm buying something else.
