Takes metallic pads
Perfect fit for Sh. HB-TX505 front hub and Tek. semi-metallic pad. Upgrade from OEM ‘resin pad only’ rotor.

Perfect fitting rotor
For what light gravel and paved trails I ride, this is the perfect brake rotor. Quieter than most at the same price range. Easy to install and comes with a metal Shimano branded lock ring (bottom bracket tool needed to tighten...NOT the cassette tool).

Exactly what I needed!
These rotors are exactly as advertised. I bought the same ones for a new set of wheels I already had on my other set. You just can't go wrong with Shimano products. They last a long time, don't make noises, don't wear out quick (so they last a long time, haha).

Since I am a recreational rider, these rotors are fine for that level. If you are above that level, upgrade.

Different lockring from other Shimano RT64 rotors
Be certain you know what style lockring you need- these are external and don't fit the front fork on my gravel frame with space for the wheel to turn freely. I've purchased Shimano RT64 rotors before and thought the lockring would be the same. Double-check the current style on your bike before ordering to avoid my mistake.

Note - External drive lock ring
Parts came in shimano packaging and fit straight on. Picture is misleading, I bought these got the internal drive splines on the lock ring - I have a cassette tool. What I got was an external drive lock ring and had to borrow a tool to fit them.
