Nicewell Digital Kitchen Food Scale 22lb for Cooking Baking

Loving this scale so far! Works much better than the last scale I had. It is small and flat enough that it slides into lots of easy spots in the kitchen to tuck it away, I love all of the weight options has, and most importantly I can actually read it if I have a large and wide bowl on top of it. Accurate, and the touchscreen is very responsive as long as you keep it clean. And, it’s super easy to clean since I chose stainless steel. It also has good battery life, as I have used this daily for months now and still have not changed the batteries. Good price for good quality!

Simple, Accurate, and Exactly What I Needed So far, so good! I originally had a Vitamix scale that stopped working after only about six years. When I replaced it, ChatGPT recommended choosing a scale without a complicated mechanism, especially since I use chatGPT to calculate my protein intake, calories, and other nutritional information. I’m really happy with this purchase. I didn’t need to spend more than necessary, and this scale does exactly what I need. The touch buttons are very smooth and responsive, and changing the unit is as simple as a quick touch. It also looks sleek and nice sitting on my kitchen counter. Sometimes simple really is better. I’m very happy I went with this one!

UPDATE: Recently the LED light became very faint and it was hard to read the digits. I reached our to Nicewell's customer service and was amazed of how quickly they responded. I told them what was going on and they asked if I could send a video of what was happening. I did and the next day I heard back from them that they were shipping me a new scale! As a reminder this is over 2 years old. They truly honored their Lifetime Warranty. In about a weeks time I had reached out to them and then received a new scale. Now days it seems that doesn't happen all the time. I'm very impressed with product but more importantly with their care about the customer who is purchasing their product. ORIGINAL Post: I’ve had this scale just about two years now. I use it multiple times during the week. It has never failed me other than when I needed to change a battery. It’s accurate easy to use. I like how slick it is and compact and it fits easily in my kitchen drawer. Very pleased with it.

So far, I'm really loving this new digital scale. I use it every day for sourdough starter. My old one died after several years of use, and I needed to replace it. I love this as it's easy to use, is accurate, easy to wipe down, and has good, clear numbers to read. The scale is attractive and can hold up to 22 lbs which is fantastic. I bought this scale to replace a smaller scale I’ve been using. I use a food scale every day to weigh my meals or for baking so there are certain features I look for in a food scale and this one checks nearly all the boxes. Since I’m just using it for personal purposes I didn’t want to pay a a premium price. This one fit my budget. The features of this one far exceeded my old one in many ways. The surface is large enough to hold anything I need to weigh and can accommodate large glass mixing bowls I use to bake with without a problem where my old one would show an error for exceeding the maximum weight allowed. It’s also easy to clean with a virtually flat surface that is easy to wipe. I say virtually because the display area where the weight is shown is slightly recessed. I wish it were smooth so that spills couldn’t accumulate there. It’s not a deal breaker at all just a bit of an annoyance for me personally. One thing that is the sole reason I took away one star from my review is that the weight can be slightly inaccurate. My scale might be an anomaly for this. What happens for me is that the weight fluctuates by my shadow. I’m not kidding. I actually was feeding my sourdough starter and I leaned over to grab my flour and water casting a shadow on the scale and the grams increased. When I leaned away, the grams decreased. I didn’t believe it at first so I moved forward and back over and over and the scale kept changing back and forth. When baking accuracy is pretty important so this was a concern for me. I’m now extra careful when weighing my ingredients to make sure it is accurate and hasn’t changed. It’s a little disappointing this is happening but I don’t want to bother returning it at this point. Other than that one thing I am enjoying using this scale. The display is nice and bright and larger than my old one. I’m not getting any younger and my eyes appreciate this. I hope it holds up for years to come.

Exactly what I needed. High quality, easy to use great display and makes it easy to TARE and add ingredients to the same bowl. Better than scales with raised buttons and metal tops that are hard to clean. This is easy to clean and looks nice sitting out on the counter.

Love this scale! Great quality for the cost and is fairly accurate. Easy to read and to use, though I accidentally change the unit all the time.

I have had my last electronic scale for 20 Years. I was at one time a scale maker. This scale looks to be nicely made. I have checked it with a set of calibrated weights and it's well within 1% The big test, what is it like corner to corner, anyone can make a scale that measures well just in the centre. Almost as good so on a scale of 1-10 I will give it 9 I hate AAA batteries that lost it 1 point.

It’s precise, handy and gives you the option of different measuring units and the rare button make it easier to add different amount.

It’s a good kitchen weigh scale. But if you are using it for workout etc; maybe you might wanna consider something that can also display calories etc. but it’s good to start and does the purpose.
