I was very wary about buying a cordless iron, but I hated dealing with the cord on my heavy old iron. But after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. And now I love, love, love my new iron!! Pros: The iron heats fast, is lightweight, and glides over my clothes. I love the double pointed part and the fact that I can iron without having the cord mess up what I just ironed! This iron heats up well and gets the wrinkles out of my cotton pants, jeans, and variety of shirts. The detachable water reservoir is a brilliant idea. No more dripping the water all over my iron. It took a while to figure out how to set my ironing station up. I ended up using an updated power tower with a long cord to plug into the outlet and then plug the iron base into that. I keep the tower plugged in and ready to use whenever I decide to iron something. I set the base on the end of the iron. When I am finished ironing, I let the iron cool and then replace the cover with the handle on it. It's an outstanding iron!! Works perfectly!

I always loved a cordless iron. Never thought I'd like a double pointed one, well I do! I saw this iron at a quilt show. It was expensive. It had just a shiny silver sole, it was Panasonic. I am so glad I waited. This has a non stick sole and I love the color. Pricewise this and the other were comparable. I sew. The most important machine a sewist has is the sewing machine, the second most important is the iron. I am very happy with this Panasonic iron. Doesn't leak and stays hot. If I could give more stars I would. I love it, worth every penny.

I'm so happy with this iron, for my quilt pieces it is excellent, it is good that when is not in use, it shut off itself, it do not take so long to get hot again. When I need to iron something bigger, I use my regular iron. worth the money

Love this iron, easy to use, not too heavy. Using it to press my quilt pieces flat and works great. Heats up well, stays hot, but it does turn off after non-use. I didn’t time it but I would guess 15-20 minutes. If you were ironing clothes that wouldn’t be a problem. Great color (rose gold) and nice ceramic bottom. Handy removable water container too. I would definitely buy again. Took it straight to a craft retreat with me and heard several ladies talking about how they wanted one when it was time to replace theirs.

Not sure yet but it is lightweight and easy to handle. Seems to get hotter at the front end point than the back end point. Does not seem to hold a high heat very long even as I am using for thirty minutes and setting it back in the cradle every minute or two. I am only using for quilting and not adding water for steam so not sure about that. Love not having a cord to drag over the pieced blocks. I think I like it but after only a couple of weeks not sure. It does take several minutes to heat back up when put back in the cradle after a few minutes or ironing. If anyone else has a better heat and hold time let us all know. Maybe just this one.

This is a very attractive product, light and easy to use. I bought it to use while sewing. It is important to press your fabric and seams as you go, for better results with your sewing. In fact I discovered this iron while watching a sewing video. It is cordless so it is easy to maneuver with no cord to get in the way! It is important to realize that this is not a rechargeable iron. It only heats while on the cradle. Also, you must remember that it cannot stand alone like an ordinary iron, because of its unique shape. It is great for what I use it for--sewing! I'm not sure how it works for ironing a whole shirt or a whole basket of clothes, for instance, on account of the need to replace it in the cradle to heat. It is also important to read the instructions, so that you understand exactly what this iron can or cannot do! It does have a steam feature which is good. Safety wise, it will shut off after 10 minutes of no use. However, when you are using it intermittently, as I am, it reheats quickly, and it does remain warm for a while. It has settings for power shot of steam and spray and dry and heat levels. As I said, it's great for using in my sewing room. I haven't tried it with a load of clothes to iron, though I'm sure it would work fine, too.

If you want problem-free, easy ironing, this is for you. My wife loves it, and I gave one to a friend because I watched her painfully move her cord around constantly so she could get her ironing done. She thanks me all the time!

I have had this iron for some time now and could not be happier. It heats fast and stays hot, even 10 min after it's turned off it's still hot enough to crease a seam. It shuts off automatically if you forget to. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space. Love love the NO cord to fight. Love it! 👍 👍 👍

The major “like” is no cord when using the iron, and then all the other features come into play. It’s fairly light, the water tank lifts off , so easy to fill, the iron features are easy to understand, it heats quickly when replaced on the base. The steam really works and can be used upright if needed. The cord retracts very easily. The case is a very nice feature if one needs to transport it. I have no complaints about this product. The price is reasonable for an iron which permits the freedom from a cord. Yes, I would buy again. The product video shows all the features , no false advertising.

J’ai le fer depuis plus d’une semaine et je l’adore vraiment, il chauffe rapidement, vient tres chaud (high) et la vapeur fonctionne très bien . Jaime plus que tout le fait qu’il soit sans fils encombrant, la grosseur et la forme sont parfaits, ma seule inquiétude pour le moment c’est la semelle du fer, il y a déjà des stries sur la semelle qui est pratiquement neuve moins d’une dizaine d’utilisations seulement, qui semble être provoqué par les roulettes qui sont sur la base du fer. Donc, si ça reste comme ça c’est ok, mais si les stries deviennent plus prononcées et détériore l’état de la semelle juste à déposer le fer sur sa base cela deviendra un gros problème, j’espère que ce ne sera pas le cas. Je reviendrai mettre à jour mon commentaire dans quelques mois
