I’ve been using an electric razor for over forty years. I’ve upgraded my razor numerous times over the years, always looking for the one. My guess now, is that I should have looked to upgrade my pre shave. I always used the green stuff my own father did. I tried a different one a few years back, and felt like I smelled like an old man. Today, as an old man myself, I still don’t want to smell like one. It was time for an upgrade. This morning, I tried Freelette. All I can say is wow! It goes over the stubble like butter, maybe better. The razor glided over my skin and cut smoothly. I was left with an extremely close shave, much closer than my Braun shaver has ever given, even when brand new. There was no burning or irritation after the shave, and the smell was great. I may have chosen a similar fragrance had I been looking.

Well, they've made a breakthrough with this product. I've used around 5 electric pre-shave products, and this one works the best, and significantly better than the rest. It softens the skin and raises the hairs for a closer shave and it works quickly. It also coats the skin with a protective layer. I use a Panasonic Arc 5 and shave immediately after getting out of the shower. It's almost unbelievable how well this works. The shave time is shortened by about 1 minute (the Arc 5 gives you the shave time) and the shave is so close that it's equivalent to if I shaved against the grain with a DE razor. The most important part is I have absolutely zero irritation. The ingredient that gives the protective layer really works. The only downside for me is the scent. I could do without it. As others have said, it's a cheap Axe type scent and it's really strong. The good thing is that you don't have to use much of this product for the shave. Also, I always wash my face after I shave to get any of the extra product off. I then slap on some aftershave and even after all that I can still smell the Freelette scent, but it's very subtle. Conclusion: Incredible product. It makes the shave more efficient and close and completely eliminates irritation. If they made this unscented it would be perfect, or at the very least decreased the concentration of the scent.

Everything about this is a 5 star except the price, I believe it is too expensive However, I will purchase again. I looked at this when it came in and thought, oh its a cream, not excited. It sat for a couple days without using it. I needed to shave today and I had a 3 day growth. I have never been able to shave with an electric with a 3 day growth. If I use Lectric Shave for years and am mostly happy. If I use it and shave everyday it does OK but when I tried with a 3 day growth, I always ended up using a razor to finish. I was going to use a razor today and thought I would give Freelette a try not expecting much. I would say on the first pass it got better than 90 percent of all hairs, I did a second pass with a little more cream and I have the best shave I have had in my life, smooth as a baby's butt.

I've used an electric and blades for over 50 years, with almost every product available. I mostly use a Panasonic Arc 5 electric now, and occasionally a DE razor. My electric routine is usually the same as for a DE blade shave - shower, pre-shave, shaving brush with artisan soap, witch hazel and aftershave. This substantially increases the time required and reduces the convenience of an electric - although it's about half the time required for a DE blade shave - but does provide the maximum comfort available with an electric shaver, for me. This product eliminates the need for all of that: just wet and dry your face, apply the Freelette and shave. Nothing else required. It's a pre-shave and aftershave all in one - you don't really need to do anything else, although any favorite aftershave or lotion would work with it because it's very unobtrusive, but a nice cologne-based, fougere-type scent in it's own right. A pleasant, very light scent, wonderfully moisturizing, with no oily or greasy feel afterwards like with Williams or Afta, and no alcohol fumes or burn. This may be the perfect electric prep, and is now my go-to for travel. The plastic bottle and aluminum cap are just about indestructable in a Dopp kit or travel bag, take up very little space, and one bottle should last several weeks. Downside - the container is slightly over (3.7 oz) what TSA allows for travel containers in carry-ons (3.4 oz max), but you could transfer it. Otherwise the best electric pre-shave you can get in my opinion - highest recommendation.

I was using an extremely alcohol heavy preshave for years but decided to give my face microbiome a break by going alcohol free. Unfortunately, my frenemy ai says that this stuff likely contains some alcohol, that claims about that are mixed and the company is secretive about the ingredients. It works very well with smooth gliding shaves and less irritation even than the mostly alcohol stuff that I was using before. It came in a white plastic bottle under a metal cap. Some photos show a possibly better bottle. It is expensive by volume. You don't use a lot but you need more than with an alcohol liquid.

This product seems to help deliver a very good electric shave. I use a Braun Series 9 Pro razor for reference. The instructions say to shave within 15 seconds of applying, which is awfully fast. It takes me longer than that to spread it over my face. So, I need to take a few drops of water and rub it on my face mid-shave to keep the moisture active, as it dries fast in our dry, desert climate. The product has the consistency of a thin after shave balm- not a splash. Scent is good, not too strong, and quite pleasant. It leaves skin soft and nice. Overall, I like the product and it is priced like many good after-shave balms, so not too out of line. I would recommend giving it a go.

La lozione crema Freelette è un prodotto specificamente formulato per chi utilizza il rasoio elettrico. Svolge contemporaneamente la funzione di pre-rasatura e di dopobarba. Rasatura molto confortevole e per me davvero il migliore. Profumazione molto lieve e gradevole. Un po' costoso, ma non serve molto prodotto per una rasatura "giornaliera". La ho provata solo con rasoio elettrico

Ho sempre usato il Williams ma da qualche tempo non è più reperibile nel mercato. Ho provato tutti gli altri prodotti pre rasatura elettrica ma con esito poco soddisfacente . Devo dire che questo prodotto ha le stesse caratteristiche del Williams e forse è ancora più valido . Do il massimo dei voti ad eccezione del prezzo che è un po’ troppo caro

J'ai acheté ce pré rasage en me fiant aux avis des utilisateurs. Mon mari adore l'utiliser et ce d'autant que la texture est juste adaptée et facilite vraiment le rasage (électrique) le produit sent discrètement le citron. Je renouvellerai régulièrement cet achat pour lui même si le prix en regard de la quantité est un peu élevé.
