A-Series TS-A3000LS4 Shallow-Mount 12" Subwoofer 1500W Max

Working well, havent had any issues and currently running 2 of them with a 2000 watt amp, provides good bass and fits well in shallow box that goes behind seat and gate for a Escalade Ext. They can provide really good and strong bass and with clear audio if mess with radio, if have one with many tuning tables to modify can mess with it and control the intensity and have someone slowly messing with amp helps a lot at same time to get it right where you want it. But so far been about 4 months with no issues and would recommend them if need some subs for a shallow 12 inch box.

Bought a pair of these 12" shallow-mount Pioneers and they dropped into my low-profile enclosure just fine (didn't need to enlarge cutout if sub was too big or mount screws at odd angle if sub too small..), they thump HARD af, i was tired of my old dual 12 sealed box taking up so much space and got low-profile box which wouldn't contain my 2 Kicker 12s (exceeds mounting depth of box) so these shallow-mount Pioneer work well. Audio Quality is not quite as deep of bass as bigger box obviously (speakers aside) but for me, it's worth the "space vs bass" trade-off. Twas hard to find dual 12 shallow sealed box (most are for pickup trucks and too wide for me) but i scored a PAIR of single 12" low-profile sealed boxes on sale for 52 USD then bolted them together thru the middle. Also stuffed abt 8 oz of polyfill in each box (filled box nicely, could put more but didn't want it too packed/dense and start resisting the cone); never sound-tested w/o polyfill but maybe one day.. wise man buys 200-300 watt RMS subs like these Pioneer because they last forever, i started w/ cheaper 100-150 watt RMS subs for under 100 USD but ALWAYS one will fail after 2-3 yrs.. then it is hard to find new sub that matches working one because spkr manufacturers update the models every 2 yrs.. shame on me for swapping-out subs every 2-3 yrs over 15 yrs before thinking of getting higher-wattage subs. Bought almost a year ago and they are still going strong.

I built two custom sealed subwoofer enclosures for underneath the back seat of my truck out of MDF and fully sound-deadened. One enclosure has an Infinity 12-in shallow mount subwoofer, and the other one has this Pioneer 12-in shallow mount sub. When I isolate each side, the Infinity doesn't perform any better or worse than this Pioneer. They're both being driven by a Taramps amp pushing about 200 W RMS per channel. They're both about equal. Either one would be a good bet for your project. I like to mix & match speakers in my systems, because I feel like it gives a fuller sound covering a broader range of frequencies, as each speaker typically performs better in some areas than others. With these I find that they're more or less equal to the competition in the same price range, so I think you're just as good with either choice. Frequency wise these really get down low and hit the deepest notes in my music. You'd probably need a larger enclosure to get down below 30 HZ, but I think these pretty much touch the bottom. Because I'm running sealed enclosures rather than ported larger enclosures, I don't know how well these perform in ported boxes, and I understand that they're not designed for those, because they have a shorter throw (being shallow-mount.) But for my sealed enclosures, they sound incredible. I'm happy with the hundred bucks I spent.

Pioneer speakers have always been dependable, especially for the price. The bass is not as deep as I thought it would be, especially since I had ordered the best ones in the flat model. Other than that, the speakers are good, and I have a Banda Amp (3000D) pushing both speakers. And I also have

This thing humps in my single cab truck connected to a 400 watt mono block amp make sure you have a good box sealed I'm a lil older heavy metal rocker this thing works perfectly for my needs just enough bass not so much you will make your eardrums explode

Hard hitting speakers for behind the seat in my standard cab 94 f150 ...these are way better than I thought they was gonna be ..and the slim fitment is even better now I can slide my seat further back lol

Fits good, sounds good, good price, doesn't last. Just over a year old and the voice coil melted. My amp maxes out at 320w RMS so it wasn't being overpowered.

Blew up after a few hours total of use, had gain at half, the amp is 800watt RMS at 2ohm, had two of these wired in parallel so on paper these two subs are a perfect match for my amp... yet it blew
