Snailax 2-in-1 Shiatsu Foot and Back Massager with Heat - Knead Foot Warmer

I have peripheral neuropathy and my feet are permanently cold and painful at times. I have a foot warmer that you put a hot water bottle inside - but that is rather primitive and fiddly. I saw this and thought it was a better option. It is cheap, small, easily placed under my sofa, soft, and lifts my feet off the ground which is a good thing. It gets comfortably warm - but not too hot (just right for me). But, as my feet are so cold normally, it is probably hotter than I imagine. As the weather is warmer now - I only use it in the evening. But it enables my feet to stretch and warm up before bed - enabling me to get a better night's sleep. The massage is a bit weird at first - since it only massages the toe area or the heels - but not both. So you have to move your feet around a bit. It seems a bit rough at first - but I am getting used to it now. But anything that moves my feet and heats them up is good for me. I remember buying something like this many years ago. It was big, heavy, expensive and just as rough (if not more) .... and I sent it back. So I think this is a far better option for me. As I am typing this, I am just trying the back option for the first time on my lower spine (which causes me a lot of pain when I walk). The massage is much better than it was for my feet - so I am even more pleased. It is far better than the expensive one I bought years ago - that put me off Shiatsu massagers. Because of this I have now upped the stars to 5. As long as it doesn't pack up (as others have complained about) I am very happy to recommend it to others.

Wow, I am so impressed with the Snailax 2in1 massager. I used it the evening I received it and was so pleased. I have (undiagnosed, waiting on appointment) neuropathy in my legs, especially the right one and was looking for something to sooth it. I had tried a tens machine, not quite right. Then I tried one of the foot machines that send electrical pulses through the foot, but again the result was not what I needed. My son has a shiatsu massager for his shoulders which is brilliant for him and I tried it gently under my feet before spending more money. I liked the feeling but obviously it was not the correct piece of kit. I looked at loads of shiatsu foot massagers and read reviews etc. and chose this one because the make kept coming top or near the top of various reviews, and because it is very affordable. I am over the moon. It is gentle (bear in mind my foot is partially numb) but not so gentle that you cannot feel the movement. My legs and feet felt so good after 15 minutes use and I was hooked. As mentioned by others, the heating is not terrific but if you give it time you are aware of it. Again, please be aware my right foot is usually ice cold, so I may not be the best judge. I have an amazing heating boot slipper for both feet, so I can use that first then massage. The machine has two directional settings, and the session can be split between the two. I also love the use if this massage on my calves. I have sciatica, so tried it against the calf and was amazed at the gentle release of the tension in my leg. I cannot believe how versatile and effective this shiatsu massage is. I shall be using this machine as often as is safe and definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a foot massage, whether or not you have foot/leg problems.

The Shiatsu massage function is great - both for feet or back or wherever, its really works like a proper massage & is good for getting knots out. ...Unfortunately its not very hot as a foot warmer though! :( My feet are still cold working at my desk. Really wish it were hotter! (points for improvement: more heat please! and longer cord for the remote control so it can sit on the desk)

Honestly, this little machine has become my favorite part of the day. The Snailex 2-in-1 Foot Massager is amazing — it gets deep into those sore spots with just the right pressure, and the heat setting is the cherry on top. Stops working within 15 minutes of use. No vibration or massage function working or heat. Was great when it worked but very disappointed now.

I have been using this massager for almost a week now and I'm OK with the purchase not glad for sure. The heat in the pad is negligible and doesn't make any difference in before and after, not sure if this is actually same for others as well. The massager otherwise is good to use, and the best part is that it has a removable cover with which you can use it for other body parts as well. I ordered it precisely for heating option it provides but then the quality of heat it generates actually defeats the purpose for me.

I have always had pretty cold hands and feet, but this winter I'm suffering from chilblains on my toes and needed something that would gradually heat them to body temperature and help me heal. Initially I was worried this would get really hot really fast and be no good, but I decided to risk it anyway. I'm so glad I did! The shiatsu massage is lovely (although I overdid it on the first day and worked muscles in my feet that hadn't been worked for a long time, they're now a bit sore but in a good way) and the heating element is just right. It doesn't heat up too fast and the unit retains heat well. It does shut off every 15 minutes as a safety feature, so I tend to put it on for another 15minutes after the initial one and then let it shut it off while leaving my feet in the unit. I always use the massager with my socks so can't say what it would be like without, but I've never found the temperature too noticeable, let alone overly hot. To be honest, I don't always know the heat element is working until I've had it on for 30minutes and can feel the residual heat. Either way this has done my chilblains a world of good. It's so relaxing and my little treat when I'm on the sofa!

Where I currently live, there are concrete floors. I have flat feet and during warm months I wear flip flops allot which is no bueno for flat feet! On this one particular day, I did more walking than I expected to do. After coming home and resting, I tried to walk but my feet were killing me. I took a long bath in hot Epsom salt water to relax my feet and while soaking I looked on Amazon for something to help my feet because I was in so much pain. I found this machine and luckily I ordered in time to get it the next day. As soon as I got it, I ripped it open and it was as simple as plugging it in and pressing the power button and the heat button. What happened after that was EVERYTHING... At first I felt slight tickle and then I felt the shiatsu balls moving and the heat comes pretty quickly and boy was that a good feeling! I used it for one hour! I didn't realize that it cuts off after 15 minutes, but that was simple as pushing power button and changing the direction of the balls. I will say that is the only reason I did not give the Easy to Use part 5 stars because it turns off just as its really feeling nice and although I am near "slobber" mode because it feels so great, when it stops it's like someone stealing your sandwich right before you take the 1st bite! LOL! I love this machine...It stays near my bed. I use it every day and because of it I can now walk better when I awaken and start to move around for the day. Before getting this, I seriously could not walk! If I need more pressure I just sit closer to edge of the bed and let the machine do it's thing! I love this machine so much I got one for my uncle who suffers from constant swelling in his feet. They have one that continuously vibrates and that is what he needed. He was looking at a machine that caused him to have to stand but he can't stand very long so I suggested the vibration version of this machine and he loves it! He too uses it every day and says that he feels better going to the store for his essential needs because before a visit to the store caused so much pain. He received his within a day as well and we are both have very HAPPY FEET now! lol! I suggest the shiatsu version for those who need trigger point pain relief and for those who have achy and swelling feet to get the one that vibrates. I do not believe you have to restart the vibrating one or at least my uncle says he didn't and used it over an hour when he 1st received it.

This machine works as promised; it's great! It item arrived on schedule and was easy to start using. There's a nice warm heat - not too strong - that soothes feet. The option for different directional massage is nice too. I use this under my home office desk; what a treat to have a cozy foot massage while working! Added bonus that it has a 2-year warranty, so that gives you peace of mind. Customer Service has been great to deal with for registering the warranty. I recommend this product.
