can this item be assembled and disassembled easily? I use the single Sognomic Rack for pop up events and looking for another to add.

No it can’t. It takes a while to assemble and is very heavy and bulky. Everything is screwed in. Would not work well at all for a pop up event.

Have you experienced water damage on the wood with leaking plants? Any rust?

No, I do not put plants on the shelves. If i put plants on the shelves in the future , would make sure the was some king of secondary containment for the water.

What are the dimensions of the top shelf? Is it narrower than the bottom shelf?

Top shelf is 40.5 inches long & 12 inches wide. The bottom shelf is 16 inches wide.
