Finally, Earplugs That Protect Your Hearing Without Ruining the Experience
Alpine MusicSafe Pro completely changed how I think about hearing protection at concerts, movies, live events, and loud environments in general. These are not the cheap foam earplugs that muffle everything into a muddy mess. They actually let you enjoy the sound while protecting your hearing at the same time. The biggest strength is the audio clarity. Music still sounds balanced and detailed instead of dull or distant. You can hear vocals, instruments, and conversation far more naturally than with standard earplugs, which makes a huge difference during live performances. Instead of feeling disconnected from the experience, it feels like the volume has simply been lowered to a more comfortable and safer level.Comfort is also excellent. Once inserted properly, they stay secure and are easy to wear for long periods without becoming irritating or creating excessive pressure in the ears. The included filter options are a great touch as well because they allow you to adjust the level of protection depending on the environment. What surprised me most was how much less exhausted my ears felt afterward. No ringing, no muffled hearing after loud events, and far less listening fatigue overall. After using these a few times, it becomes difficult to justify attending concerts or loud venues without some form of quality hearing protection. The included carrying case is compact and practical, making it easy to throw into a pocket, backpack, or everyday carry setup without thinking about it.Overall, the Alpine MusicSafe Pro earplugs strike an excellent balance between comfort, sound quality, and protection. If you care about music, live events, or preserving your hearing long term without sacrificing audio quality, these are absolutely worth picking up.

Great
Great for The price, keeps The sound as clear as possible while protecs you

For the price, seems fair
Decent SNR specs for the three different plugs. Strap and clips feel cheap. Don’t expect them to hold up over time. For the price, seems fair.

Comfortable for long sessions. Great Attenuation!
I came to know Alpine when researching earplugs for riding motorcycles. Really liked what I had - comfortable, easy to insert and extract (they have a tail to pull them out).Had the opportunity to attend a Metallica M72 concert where I'd be close to the stage. Was concerned about the sound overwhelming the plugs I use for riding. Even though I had Alpine, I still did research for what was out there for musicians on stage. Figure - they are super close and must have good hearing protection. Short of, that is, getting custom ones made many of them have.Decided to go with these over another brand partly due to price and experience with another product of theirs. Used the highest protection "plugged" in. Have to say - they did phenomenally! Three bands over about 5 hours and could have left them in indefinitely. They were that comfortable. And the sound - was great! Didn't feel like I was missing anything. Some have posted they had issues getting the plugs out of their ears. These don't have the tabs like my motorcycle versions do. BUT they do have the string you can connect to them. It attaches to the stems, just under where the "plug" enters. Super easy to remove with that setup. It's really nice how Alpine includes a 3rd earplug in case something happens to one of the others. The Juice: There are three levels of sound attenuation offered through three sets of inserts. I chose the highest level (gold plug). My Apple Watch Ultra v1 sound level measurements indicated the max at the concert was 114 dB with many measurements in the 110 area. NEVER felt uncomfortable and when all was over, could tell hearing was not impacted.ONE WARNING - the cleaner these come with. It's a pump spray WITH a top that just pops off, not unscrews. I unscrewed it and lost 2/3rds of the fluid. It LOOKS like it just unscrews. Don't do what I did.In the end - highly recommend these plugs for attending music events/concerts.

Protect your hearing always! I recommend these for an affordable way to help.
Having been a musician, songwriter, producer, and mix engineer for over 30 years, I need my ears! I never go to a concert or gathering of very loud talkers without them. I had custom molded Sensaphonics for 22 years until a certain wife sat them down behind me while were were in an ER and focused on other things. Rather than spend hundreds on replacements, I gave these a try. They have been a great solution and value. I ended up buying a 2nd set, since they come with 3 units in a box, rather just 2, I can now mix and match to have 3 sets; one each for white, silver, and gold. Now I can change levels in a loud environment without have to swap out the filters in at least 1 plug to end up with 2 units at a different DB protection.Swapping filters is not terribly hard, but they are held in place firmly - which is good. Swapping those out in concert audience lighting can be tricky and risks losing on of those filters, I recommend getting a 2nd set after confirm the product works well for you on the first set.NOTE: Even the gold-level filters were no match for sound pressure coming out of the nearby PA stack at the club concert were I recently saw Mammoth (Wolfgang Van Halen), but that's the first I've wished for more.I recommend these, or any quality filtersn to protect your hearing! Unlike a belly after you quit eating right, it doesn't come back and you may have a lot of years to regret it. What?

Great earplugs, Great Value, Protective!
I needed earplugs to wear to concerts, and these have been fantastic. My ear canals are a bit on the smaller side, but these fit with no issues. It took a few wears to really get used to putting them in, but they are comfortable and work well. You can still hear people talking and have conversations with these on, even the heaviest cancellation. Loud music sounds great through these, and my ears don't hurt and they don't ring once the show is over. These are easy to clean with the solution they give you. Putting the filters in is easy, but taking them out can be a bit tough, so expect a little resistance when changing noise filters. I'm super impressed with the effectiveness at the pricepoint. I also love the little carrying case and I like how these fit well in the ears so people don't really notice them.

A decent upgrade from their previous offering
I purchased a set of Alpine ear plugs probably about 10 years ago. They've been great, but the rubber material is getting pretty gross at this point. I purchased this set from Alpine again, and it looks like they've made some changes. My photo shows the old version to the right (metal case), and the new on the left (zipper case). The new set comes with 3 sets of filters, for more options depending on your situation. Not sure if it was a manufacture mistake, but mine came with 3 plugs, so there's an extra in there in case you lose it.I liked the old case better, the metal tube. The zipper case is nice, but bulkier on your key ring than the old version. My first set from Alpine lasted me almost 10 years (and still good minus the gross rubber), and I'm sure this new set will last me another 10 years. Protect your ears and buy these today. I wish I'd bought these for all the concerts and band practices I had in my younger years.

You might as well use roll-up foam plugs. These lop off all frequencies.
I don't get all the glowing positive reviews of these plugs.Yes, they may attenuate sound into a safe decibel range, but roll-up foam does as well, for considerably less expense and effort.I was in front row, and with these in, could not make out -any- words to songs I knew.Could not distinguish brass, could not hear cymbals, everything was mush.Definitely not what I expected for thirty bucks. The second star is for fit and comfort of the ear canal material composition.I wore them for 2 pre-show artist sets, and had no after-effects of itching, etc. Very comfortable fit.Took them out completely for the headline artist.

Comfortable earplugs delivering their promise
Great product! I've been testing the silver earplugs during multiple loud techno concerts, and they delivered their promise. My ears survived the nights, and I didn't experience any tinnitus whatsoever. What's best about them is that they don't muffle the music too much, I mainly noticed the differences with the bass/kick which feels less harsh and loud, while you can still hear the rest of the frequencies, overall as if the volume was just slightly turned down. I wouldn't claim that my listening experience was degraded, also because you quickly get used to the level of sound you get through the earplugs. If you attend loud music events where the speakers can easily go above the bar, do yourself a favor and buy these earplugs. Your ears will thank you later! They feel comfortable, don't slip off, and if you're paranoid that you may lose them, you can still rely on the cord that keeps them in pairs and can be kept around your neck. Some may think this is a bit unesthetic, depending on the circumstance, but I didn't think so and still wore them the first times just for extra safety. I haven't tested the other earplugs yet, but so far it felt like the mid ones are already reducing the dBs enough to prevent damage.Bonus: I also appreciated the tiny case you get with the product, which can easily fit in a pocket and you can carry around.
