stencil.
I thought the stencils would be a sturdier plastic. I have never used a cardboard one and I hope it holds up ok. I have not used them yet, but I loved the sizes and the different patterns. I also thought the price was very fair.

Cheap quality
While the stencil designs were great, the quality of the actual stencils was quite poor. They were cheap heavy paper or cheap low grade cardboard similar to oaktag. They will not holdup when using a stencil brush to make swirling motion. If using water based paints , they will deteriorate even faster. I've been stenciling for years and have done 2 of my homes in almost every room. Very disappointed.

Good stencils, not so great paper
Beautiful stencils, as expected from Amy Butler, but I wish they were plastic. I've ripped 2 trying to clean them.

Fell apart after one use
The designs are great, but these stencils are made of paper and fell apart after one use. I do not recommend this product.

Excellent book with stencils included
The books contains stencils that I can use of many projects. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to stencil anything!
