After years and years looking for linens that are “ percale” feel without paying inflated prices, I thought I’d give these a try. $14.99 A very low price and shocking surprising high quality! I ordered a set of pillowcases last night and they arrived early this afternoon. This color is slate blue. As pictured the color appeared to match my current summer bedspread, which is dark teal. Perfect match.the picture is right out of the package and not ironed! I honestly can’t express my enthusiasm for these pillowcases enough. The fact that I’m writing a review in less than an hour since I’ve received them has to mean something. I ordered queen size and even with my queen size pillow they fit beautifully with enough extra at the opening to drape nicely without any gap open to reveal the pillow inside. They do have the envelope fitting but finished on each side. Without hesitation, I’m going order the same pillowcases in every color that will accompany any of my linens. I’m being honest and telling you that in my linen closet I currently have a name brand of pillowcases that were priced at $69 and didn’t even come close to this quality. I hope that these aren’t a one shot deal and then when I order more, they’ll fail the test but I can assure you if they do I’ll bring you up to date. Seriously, don’t hesitate to purchase these.

Good and not so good! If you are buying a pillowcase for a quality cotton heavyweight fabric you've found your match. Unfortunately this pillowcase has a sheen or brushed surface. It's quite slippery. So for my intended use it was a poor choice.

After returning home, I washed both pillowcases to see how they held up, and again, they didn’t disappoint. The quality is genuinely impressive, and the comfort level rivals bedding I’ve bought for triple the price.
