It should work fine. It is already coming with 2 HDMIs that can be used for 2 displays why should anybody need 2 hubs? Makes no sense.

Yes the lightning sign means thunderbolt and if you have thunderbolt 3 it allows for DP Alt mode for video. Most computers with thunderbolt 3 should be able to run two external 1080p displays.
