This is holding up really well! I've tried many different brands of these and this is the best so far.

I use feed bags on all my horses and have for years. There is no better way to avoid waste of supplements and feed. It is also the best way to make sure who you want to get certain feeds or supplements actually gets them. The problem with most feedbags is that they just don't last. The Cashel feed bags are the worst and do not hold up. There is nothing out there quite like this good old fashioned canvas bag. It is affordable and holds up sufficiently though I have one mare that chews through the bottom every 3 to 4 months. At least with the canvas it is repairable so way easier to keep it going than other brands. Here is a tip though... any feed bag will start to smell after some regular use. I spray mine down with warm water after every few uses and keep them hung to dry each day. Every week I spritz them down with apple cider vinegar and let them hang 15 to 20 min before feeding. The horses don't mind the apple cider vinegar at all and a couple actually seem to really like it. The bags never get that nasty odor when I follow this routine.

It’s working great for my older guy. The inside flap keeps him from being able to throw grain out when he tosses his head. It’s also holding up well and showing no damage. It lasted 3 months for my other horse before he tore a 3” hole in the bottom. He paws when he eats (he does it no matter what he eats out of) and he stepped on it and lifted his head. I tried to sew it but it didn’t last. I have thrown the bags in the washer. Just take the leather strap off first.

This is a quality product! You can find less expensive feed bags but it's clear this one will last a long time. Good value.

I bought this product because I thought it would hold up better than the cheaper versions. I was wrong. I used it for three weeks and it has three holes warn in the bottom and the canvas type fabric is very worn and faded. Not worth the extra money spent.

I bought 3 of these feed bags. All size avarage. The up close picture was of my pony I just added an extra hole to the sides for adjusting. The holes on the side were punch a tad smaller than what the buckle was, but that was no problem for me because I have leather hole punchers on hand. My geldings took to them well, but my mare wasn’t trying to hear it. I’m sure she will come around to it with some work. My older gelding I’ve had him for 5 years I took him in as a rescue. He has always had problems with desensitizing. So I figured he’d have the biggest issue with this, but surprisingly he didn’t. He associated the bag with his meal and didn’t make a fuss out of it. I put their fly pellet feed, dewormer and other supplements (powder and grain) and they ate it all without any waste. Will definitely buy these again if I need more. These clean out well with some water and little soap with a scrub brush. Just hang to dry.

I had bought these about a year ago. They lasted a good amount of time but eventually got holes in them so I ordered new ones. The new ones are not nearly as nice or durable feeling as the last ones…we’ll see how long they last!

Love the durability of this horse feedbag. I have used several different brands and this one is especially sturdy. It's made of a heavy canvas material with a nice leather strap. We have a mare who was spilling her supplements out of her mesh feed bag, but this one keeps them in. She will occasionally dunk it in the water trough, but the canvas seems to still keep in the supplements. I learned quickly to get the darker colors because the white canvas quickly got muddied in our muddy paddock! I recommend this feedbag!
