Best non-synthetic chewable vitamin as of 2019...
Firstly, let me start by stating that I know Nestle acquired Garden of Life in 2017. Of course, I enjoy supporting small, family-owned business. However, until I find a better alternative as a chewable vitamin for my toddler, this is in my opinion best offering in the market as mentioned below. My wife breastfed my son until he was 20 months old. Then he became a very picky eater. We know it is a phase and will end sometime in the future, but until then we wanted to supplement his diet with a good quality vitamin. We researched extensively various 'well-regarded' brands for vitamins for children that were not produced with synthetic this and that, that were free of artificial flavors, sweeteners, colorings, etc. And, we found 3 products. One is this one, which is a chewable vitamin. The other is Drucker Labs IntraKid, which is a liquid vitamin. Third is MegaFood's Kids One Daily; this is a vitamin for older kids that can swallow a small tablet as it is 'not' in chewable form. At 20 months, MegaFoods' Kids One Daily was not in our list as our son wouldn't be able to swallow a tablet for quite some time. We bought Drucker Labs IntraKid at first. This is a liquid vitamin, very expensive and suggested for children who are 4 and older (like Garden of Life's Multivitamin). We planned to start with quarter of the suggested dose to our 20 months old son and then increase it to the half of the suggested dose when our son reached 2 years old. IntraKid is full of good stuff, no doubt. However, when you put that much stuff in a liquid vitamin (including Omegas), I don't think there is a flavor in the world that can make it taste good. We tried to inject the liquid with a syringe to his mouth. We tried to mix it with juices, etc. (he would never finish the whole thing, which meant he couldn't get the exact amount). There was simply no way we could make our son drink Intrakid. When we tried it, it was very bad tasting. There is no way I could drink it regularly myself to be honest. Hence, we saw no point buying it again and spending that much money. Then, we tried Garden of Life... Firstly, we both tried it ourselves and loved the taste actually. It is packed with lots of important vitamins, no artificial flavors, colorings and still taste decent. Of course, if a kid or adult was used to taking chewable vitamins with artificial flavors/sweeteners, it would probably be a hard switch. Obviously, this wasn't the case for our son. At 20 months old, we started with half a bear. It breaks easily; you don't need a knife or a cutter. We sat with him and chewed one ourselves. We also observed him for awhile to make sure he didn't choke since he was still under 2. At 2 years old, we increased the amount to a full bear (the serving size is 2 bears for children 4 and older). At 3 years old, we increased the amount to 1.5 bears. At 4, we will give him 2 bears. In addition to this vitamin, we give him fish oil (Nordic Naturals) regularly. Since he is a picky eater, giving him this vitamin along with fish oil gives us a peace of mind. Until our son can swallow a tablet, we will stick to this brand as we couldn't find an alternative chewable vitamin as of 2019. When he can swallow, we plan to switch to MegaFood's Kids One Daily. I will post this review on IntraKid's page as well since it is basically a comparison.

Best vitamin for kids
I purchased a small bottle to try out with my kids (4yr and 1 yr) after I had tried Dr Mercola vitamins. Kids liked the mercola vitamins but they were out of stock and could not order, so with preschool starting I needed an alternative for my kids. At first few days it was a chore to get them to take the vitamins but they did-I tried one myself and did not blame them as the taste was not so good. However, after a week, my kids began wanting and asking for their "bear vitamins". They now take them each day (2 tablets for my 4 yr old and 1 tablet for my 1 yr old)! These are the healthiest vitamins you can give your kids because they are from raw, whole, nutrient rich sources. My 4yr old use to have trouble with constipation and we would give her raw milk as that would help tremendously but since on the vitamins the raw milk is no longer needed and she is very regular now. She did get sick 1 time since her preschool started almost 2 months ago at the start of school and start of vitamin implemenation but only minor cold symptoms and only lasted about 4 days. This is a turn to better health for her as she would routinely get sick and last 7 days or longer sick. In fact now that she is in preschool she is being exposed to much more kid contact and germs than ever before and is holding up VERY well. I attribute it to getting a great high quality raw daily vitamin. Her baby sister continues to florish as well given the extra exposure to what sister brings home (although baby sister was already very healthy previtiamins). So based on our results using these vitamins for two months and seeing a vast improvement in our daughters overall health I would highly recommend them to all parents. Also, we don't give out daughters very much sweets at all and only a little bit of juice so maybe that is why it was easier for them to accept the vitamins taste. Lastly, you get a great deal on these via amazons subscribe and save which we signed up for and received our next shipment just before our current bottle was ending! *****UPDATE***** Kids Still going strong with these. Excellent product! Highly recommend!

I am pleased with the results of this Vitamin
I bought these vitamins for my granddaughter. I need to build her immune system up and give her the nutrition she needs. I use Garden of Life vitamins myself and I believe they are one of the best. When I gave it to her the first few times, she hated the taste of them and had to have something to drink or eat to get rid of the taste. Now she chews them right up and has got used to the taste and told me today she doesn't mind taking them at all anymore. So I will continue to use them and ordering them every month, they are well worth the money I paid. My granddaughter was sickly when she came to live with me, she was pale and sickly with dark circles under her eyes and low energy. Now her color has come back to her cheeks and she feels so much better after about 2 weeks. She says she feels better too. I have noticed she is sleeping better now also. She can think better too. I appreciate having a vitamin that isn't full of GMO's and gluten and sugar. I am very happy with these vitamins and what it has done for my granddaughter.

My boys love these but daughter slowly is liking them.
My boys 5 and 7 years old love these vitamins. However, my 4 y.o. daughter needed persuading for 1 year before she finally is taking them. Originally my boys didn't want to try them but because they are a light brown/tan color I told them they are chocolate vitamins. From there on they love them and think they are getting a treat every time I give them to them. My daughter finds them alittle hard to bite initially and seems to gag once she puts in her mouth but has gotten better after a couple of weeks. I decided to try them for this review and find them a little sour but overall not bad with no after taste. Taste varies from children so I guess not all kids will like these and gag as my daughter did in the past. They are a bit hard which I find surprising 2 year olds are able to take these as other review posted. My children preferred (loved) other non-organic vitamins in the past but because we try to eat organic foods finding a vitamin which are non-gmo verified and with a majority of its ingredients being organic especially the fruits and vegetables in them is important. These vitamins have 170 mg of organic fruit and vegetable blend plus and added probiotic blend. I purchase on subscribe and save and have found Amazon to be the cheapest price around anywhere from 3 to 4 dollars cheaper than others websites. With three kids taking 6 bears a day one bottle of 60 only last 10 days so that saving is huge for us. Overall these are good vitamins I just wish they 100 percent organic vitamins but price probably would be increased and taste might be effected and pill size might increase since the source of the individual vitamins like vit c would have to come from food source. I would have given five stars if usda organic vitamins. Otherwise a good vitamin I would recommend in you want a non-GMO vitamin with organic fruit and vitamin blend plus probiotics.

Great quality, horrible flavor (for kids)
So after all my research these vitamins by far were the best as far as nutritional content. Way more 100% than any other vitamins for children and without the artificial junkand the beat price point for the quality!… unfortunately, they made my kids gag. 8 of my 8 kids spit them out. Now I will say, my kids love the sweet gummies and we’re very disappointed. That being said, i personally didn’t think they were bad. They just weren’t like the sweet gummies. If your kids typically eat a more natural diet, they might like these. But mine wouldn’t eat another one… so IM taking them now! Because even the super expensive vitamins couldn’t compete w the nutrition or price point. These are awesome vitamins so they still get 5 stars from me… my kids get 4 stars since they won’t eaT them!

New flavor not so good
My kids used to LOVE these to the point they would suck on them like they were candy because they enjoyed the flavor. They now immediately are repulsed by them and want to spit them out. My 8 year old daughter was surprised and so disappointed because she looked forward to her vitamin before. They also no longer are USDA certified organic. Sadly, after using these for years, we are going to have to find another option.

Great
Was glad to find a healthy vitamin for kids that wasn't gummy. My kids are not the biggest fans of the flavor but still take them with no big problems. I use the garden of life brand for myself and husband.

Kids love taste, but needs larger purchase option for cheaper
I love that it is from whole organic foods. That’s what I wanted. I also wanted a chewable not a gummy because they are more efficient at holding vitamins and minerals. My kids love the taste and request them every night so remember remembering to give them their vitamins is easy. Wish they didn’t have the fake flavoring in them, but I guess I’ll have to trade them getting their vitamins for one questionable ingredient. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that you cannot do a subscribe and save and it comes in a 30 chewable container serving size being two, even for one kid it doesn’t last a month for two kids is gone in a blink! They need 100 tablet or more option that offers savings for buying more.

Tastes terrible!
We usually love Garden of Life products- but this kids multivitamin tastes terrible. My kids have tried several brands and types and it’s usually no issue, but this one is tough even for me to stomach.
