Just what I was looking for!
Winning and loosing is not what kids need to learn. This book gives alternative FUN games for kids! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. It even has games for swimming! And it's young kids through teens all in the one book.

Great games for PE class
Great games for PE class, some of the games are a little too waldorfy but overall it's a great resource.

games range from water games to singing/circle games to playground games. I use this to organize games for school children, especially in grades K--5. Excellent teacher resource.

This is a wonderful book about how to play with children in a way that helps them develop but doesn't take away any of the fun!

This books is full of ideas and I look forward ...
This books is full of ideas and I look forward to using them as my children grow. One downside is that many are intended for classroom use. I appreciate the musings at the beginning of the book about children and play and sensory integration, along with the thoughts on competitive sports and ballet.

Wonderful book showing age appropriate games and reasons why. Have fun down on the sand creating the spiral and play the maize game. Lots of activities indoor and outdoor for all ages
