Product Description Based on Heidi Murkoff's 16 million copy best-selling book, WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING is an ensemble romantic comedy in the vein of LOVE ACTUALLY and VALENTINE'S DAY. The film is a modern look at love through the eyes of five interconnected couples experiencing the thrills and surprises of having a baby, and ultimately coming to understand the universal truth that no matter what you pla .com An all-star cast afflicted with baby fever gives What to Expect When You're Expecting a lot of heart and more than a few laughs. This is a fictionalized account of the best-selling advice book, interweaving several couples' storylines as they deal with pregnancy, fertility issues, adoption, and more. Standouts include Cameron Diaz as a high-powered celebrity fitness trainer and Matthew Morrison of Glee as her TV dance partner; Jennifer Lopez, a successful photographer yearning for a child; and Elizabeth Banks (30 Rock), hilarious as a sanctimonious motherhood champion who has to confront some of her own preachiness when she suddenly becomes pregnant herself. And the guys are funny, too--especially Chris Rock, a member of the "dudes' group" who bond with their tots and each other every Saturday in the park, and Dennis Quaid, a blowhard expecting twins with his new trophy wife (Brooklyn Decker, a very talented comedian). There's not much of a plot in What to Expect When You're Expecting; it's more like a series of well-directed (by Kirk Jones) snapshots or webisodes--but the strong cast and light touch give the movie its appeal. It helps if you are in or have been in baby-fever mode to truly appreciate What to Expect; it also helps if you enjoy frequent barf jokes and a ton of product placements for Delta Air Lines. Overall, though, What to Expect When You're Expecting is a cheery send-up and embrace of the miracle--and terror--of pregnancy. Pass the pickles and ice cream. --A.T. Hurley

Funny, light hearted and enjoyable!!
I really enjoyed this movie. It had a lot of realistic scenes. Most parts were funny and slap stick. Several couples navigate through pregnancy whether planned or not. This movie is very relationship focused. Every one ties in well. It was fun to see so many stars playing parts we can all relate to. Chris Rock was good here. I believe even people who don't have kids would like this movie. It does have cursing and some sexual talk and some yuck talk at times but most of it is just people being human. Not a kid oriented movie. Enjoy!!

All emotions included in this movie
This is a chick flick and guy flick movie all in one. It have the complexity of various stories that cover all possible types of relationships and parenting issues, even for those who cannot have children. Its not for the simple minded and it more than just a funny chick flick, its a well rounded movie with all the sentiment that having children or supporting women having children should have. Enjoy!

Funny Movie
The movie came in great package and on the promised date. This movie is halarious!! It is about three different women all expecting and how their pregnancies are very different. It also show how the dads take part on Saturday morning and the Daddy club, keeping everything they say as "sacred" amoung themelves as they learn to how to be dads. It also show the emotions of a young couple about the difficulty in adopting a baby and how the other dad help the adopting father work through it and the adopting mother hides her fears until the end. Great movie for young adults and above.

Fun and Funny
I have had many pregnant friends, and what made me laugh the most is that this movie captures essentially all types of pregnant women very well. The sporty pregnant woman that does yoga, water pilates, and still finds time to work a full-time job.The pregnant woman that has all problems possible with her pregnancy. Smelly gas, heartburn, morning sickness, fatigue. The pregnant woman that makes pregnancy look simple because she is so glamorous the entire time. The woman that couldn't have children so she adopts. And the teenage couple.Without revealing any of the plot, Elizabeth Banks character is by far my favorite. She is hilarious in every scene she's in. Also, the dad group definitely brings some masculine energy into the scene. Chris Rock never ceases to amuse me.I don't have a single maternal bone in my body so I didn't think I would enjoy this movie as much as I did, because it just wasn't relatable to my single and childless life, BUT I fully enjoyed every part of it. I think the men of the world will enjoy this movie, too.

Best to EXPECT nothing
Expect nothing because then you will be pleasantly surprised. 3.8 stars. The reason I docked points is because when movies have a surplus of characters that they jump around to, it's hard to care about them as much. And the story line becomes slightly chaotic. Like 'Valentines Day', that movie sucked. But this one did much better than that movie switching stories yet linking all the people, as well as making you care about them- at least to a degree. Heck, I must have cared because I even had a few tears at a couple parts. There were a few lol moments. Like when the daddies come on screen to 'bad a' music with their strollers and expressions. Bahahaha I laughed so hard. Other than that it was entertaining but I would not own the DVD. $3.99 was too much to rent as it was. But watch it if you are bored and looking for some entertainment.***May contain vague spoilers*** If you have had any experience with babies, or are close to someone that have, you will appreciate the humor. Also, they did a good job at showing different baby experiences. Kudos for that. They have the mom with the crappy experience (which I could better relate to, as I was puking for the entire pregnancy but even she had it easy in my eyes:) Then there was the race car drivers young wife who felt awesome during the pregnancy and literally sneezed the baby out. It's funny but true, that some people are lucky enough to have it that easy. They touched on symptoms of pregnancy, a c-section, miscarriage, and a heart felt adoption scene. Overall enjoyable if you aren't 'EXPECTING' a phenomenal movie.

Funny with a cherry on top!
I was not expecting this to be funny, not gonna lie. I saw this as another chick flick that would corny where the preview is way funnier then the actually movie. The five stars is for the fact that it was funny and I just needed something to make me laugh and relax. This is not an oscar winning movie but it is extremely entertaining and provides you with a good laugh. So, if you are looking to laugh, not think to much, and enjoy a calm evening this is a good movie to do that with!
