Excellent Cameras with Lots of Features
I now have four TP-Link Tapo Pan/Tilt cameras, and I've been extremely happy with them. The picture quality is excellent, the pan/tilt functionality works well, and there are plenty of setup options for motion detection, notifications, recording, and remote viewing. The app is easy to use, and these cameras have been great for keeping an eye on things around the house. Whether you're using them as pet cameras, baby monitors, or general security cameras, they offer a lot of capability for the price. One thing I've learned is to follow TP-Link's SD card recommendations. These cameras can be a bit finicky about SD card compatibility, so using a recommended card can save you some frustration. I should also mention that I use all four of mine outdoors, even though they're not rated for outdoor use. They are mounted under the eaves, so they don't get direct rain or snow, but they are exposed to hot summers, cold winters, and significant temperature swings. Despite that, they've continued to work reliably and haven't given me any issues. Pros: Excellent picture quality Reliable pan and tilt features Lots of setup and notification options Easy-to-use app Great value for the cost Has handled outdoor temperature extremes well in my experience Cons: Can be picky about SD card compatibility Overall: I have four of these now, which probably says all you need to know. Great image quality, lots of features, and solid reliability. Just use a recommended SD card, and they've been excellent cameras in my experience.

Look no further. These are a WIN
Blown away with these cameras!!. We have nothing but ring cameras and truthfully the quality out performs them! CRYSTAL CLEAR. The infrared works really well also! I can actually see clear as day. The app is easy to navigate and I’m happy to say the install was a breeze! Happily married, but single girl approved since I was able to hang it on the wall all by myself! Took me maybe 10 minutes. For the price you can’t beat it. 10/10 highly recommend! Will be purchasing more

Affordable Indoor Camera with Great Features
This is a nice, inexpensive option for an indoor security camera. Setup was quick and easy, and I like that it doesn't require a subscription to use the basic features. The option for local storage is a big plus, and the camera has several useful features that make it versatile, including motion detection, two-way audio, and night vision. It works well for keeping an eye on pets, children, or just monitoring a room in your home. For the price, this camera offers a lot of functionality and is a great choice for anyone looking for a simple indoor security solution without ongoing fees.

Great indoor camera that can serve as a baby camera.
This was purchased as a baby monitor and it definitely does not disappoint. Setup was mostly a breeze; it didn't initially pair with my phone, but when I attempted it again, it paired immediately. After installing the Tapo app, it automatically synced with my Kasa devices as well, unifying everything under one app. It can be installed in a couple of ways; it can just sit on a shelf, but it also comes with a mounting bracket that you can install on the wall / ceiling. While I currently have it sitting on a shelf, it looks like mounting it would be a simple task. After setup, the video and picture quality is very sharp, and the motion detection works very well; just this morning, it recorded when my wife went in to pick up our son from his crib. It started immediately after the door opened, and stopped recording shortly after they left the room. While I realize a camera that can't do this function is rather useless, it's still great to see a product do a task well. As with pretty much all camera systems, Tapo offers a cloud service for a monthly subscription; otherwise it defaults to saving the recordings to a microSD card (not included). I was pleasantly surprised to be able to view a saved recording from the Tapo app outside of my home network. The app can also allow a user to remotely control the camera, panning and tilting as needed, or set it to auto pan/tilt. You can also use the two-way microphone to talk through the camera. I haven't tested this fully, but the little bit that I have, it seems to work well. It's also possible to set this up to connect to a NAS / NVR system. The range of view is nice; with it being able to pan / tilt as needed, it can view a large area, although not at the same time. The single point of view is on par with a standard camera, so if a wide view camera is needed, this may not serve that need. Overall, the value of this camera is quite high; being able to seamlessly join with my current home network environment made setup easy with no complications, and picture quality is great. It's not a 2k or 4k camera, but it's still a great product that I would highly recommend. It comes packed full of nice features for a great price, especially since it's not some unknown name brand.

great for a low cost panable camera
Do you need a camera to monitor part of the house, the garage, the pets? Do you have a plug nearby? Then this camera is great. It's not the highest res, but 1080P is very clear and does a good job with night vision even though there are not a lot of IR lights around it. It has a decent amount of rotation and tilt to be able to monitor a pretty wide area. Setup, was a little quirky. you first connect your phone to the cameras wifi. Then you set the camera to detect the home wifi router, putting in the 2.4ghz password. If that completes, you're pretty much on your way. If not, you have to repeat this step a couple of times, which happened to me. At first i wasn't too sure of the setup routine as it wouldn't complete the setup. Another irritation is, it will say your microsd car isn't useable. You need to use the tapo app to format the sd card once the phone app and camera are setup, and it should be fine. The phone app lets you take a picture, lets you record and stop recording. What i dont know yet, is it recording per schedule, or recording when you hit the record button while viewing? I will have to check into that, but you get a scheduler like most security cams, with normal recording schedule and motion schedule. It comes with a mount bracket to mount on wall or someplace. I just have it on a desk so i can point it down at where my dog sleeps. You can pan it around and the 1080p picture is clear in daylight and infrared at night. If the setup worked a little better i'd give this 5 stars because the price is great. So if you need a small camera, that you can just place somewhere in the house in range of your 2.4ghz router, this works and was somewhat easy to set up. 4stars for now, but 5 star price. i'm updating review since i just bought my 3rd tapo camera. So connection setup must have been fixed somewhat as i was able to set up on first try. It's still the same though as i mentioned above. What i didn't mention, is that there is a normal recording schedule which records continuously and a motion recoring schedule which only records when it detects movement. So when you go to play back you will only see snippets of recording if you only selected motion. They added a lot of features which requires some sort of subscription, like i do not use cloud, i dont like my home being stored online. I dont use advanced (subscribed) features like they can send you emails with snapshot for different triggers (movement, person, baby) but you will pay for this email service. It does have notifications though for free and it is just a text msg saying a detection happened, which is good enough for me. Also with other cameras you can filter sections of the screen out, that it wont trigger a notification. This works well unless you follow mode which the camera will try to follow the movement and then the filtered section will now filter areas you didn't want to. So take that into consideration. Still giving this a 5 for the price of the camera.

Decent quality for price
I have 6 of these. They work great, the video quality is good, and the app is easy to navigate. A little bit of a pain to connect to wifi when taking the cameras with, but nothing too awful. These are used to watch our dogs when out of the crate; the ability to adjust where the camera is facing is what made me get it. Works well. Even when there’s no lights in the camera quality is decent. I also like that you can talk through the camera as well, I will say it is lagged a little— the sound is a few behind when you speak over the app. Size of the camera makes it easy to place and easy to pack if taking it with.

Will purchase again!
Great camera for the price! There are a lot of choices to choose from and I was looking for a camera that was affordable but also had the features I was wanting. This camera checks both boxes. It was very easy and quick to set up. Instructions were included. It also came with the screws and anchors to mount the camera if you choose. The video quality is great and I also like that it is compatible with Alexa. If you are looking for a camera I’d highly suggest getting this one. I will be purchasing another one in the future for my bedroom.

Follows Movement and Notifies Movement Detection
I bought this camera (C-200) and two C-100 Tapo Cameras to check on what our dogs were doing when out of sight in the house. The C-100's cover two fixed areas, hallway and kitchen, and the C-200 covers a larger room. I use the C-200 to track what they are doing in the larger room that cannot be covered by a non-panning camera. The C=200 has a 64Gb card while the others have 32Gb cards. Following applies to the C=200 model: PROS: The image is very clear in daylight color and nighttime black/white using the infrared function. 5 stars for image quality. CONS: The tracking and playback are not smooth. I set the camera to the highest frame rate to see if that would smooth out the video playback. The camera will pause playback and then start it up several video frames later; you can see the image jump over what should be several frames of video. The panning function is not smooth, I walked around the room, and the C-200 would pan, stop panning, then jerk to my new location instead of following me smoothly. The dogs can leave the covered hallway area and travel to the family room before the movement notification shows up on my iPhone or Apple tablet. If you can live with the deficits mentioned than the camera does what it is supposed to do. Therefore, I recommend the camera due to price and image quality.

Great camera with good features.
The camera does what it says, and is great for the price. A simple to use and effective camera. Display quality is very good, audio is basic but what do you expect for the price? No issues with setup. Just wish it would allow deletions of movement recordings by the app. Overall very happy.
