I needed a replacement for my 20 year old hard wired door bell from driveway to kitchen, 40 foot already wired and so hooked it up and picture is great and works just right. Solved my problem.

This video cam door bell works well so far, night vision is in black and white.

The product performs its intended function, but I've encountered a few areas that could use enhancement. Firstly, the microphone on the display unit struggles with sound reception. I found myself needing to lean in very close to the mic hole just to ensure my voice was audible on the other end. Additionally, the visual quality on the display leaves something to be desired; it appears somewhat grainy, which detracts from the overall experience. Furthermore, I was surprised to discover that in order to unlock the door, the video feature must be activated first; without it, the door remains stubbornly closed. These quirks certainly present some challenges that could benefit from improvement.

It works beyond expectations. The monitor is clear and the different rings are a plus.

I bought this to replace a broken doorbell camera, setup was easy, video quality was better than the one it replaced and worked fine but it only lasted 6 months. Camera and microphone still work but the doorbell button does not. A doorbell that doesn't ring is not of much use.
