Gowe® Reprappro Huxley The Reprap 3D Printer Kit Package 3D Printers Open Source

The Reprappro Huxley I received was completely assembled and that was a relief. What concerned me was the fact one of the laser cut parts was broken. This was the spool holder. I managed to make a replacement using another 3D printer. Make that two pieces to be sure the parts were strong enough to hold the spool. Then, after I plugged the machine in and performed a few tests, the machine acted up. The print head got stuck and started shaking. The next thing I see, another plastic part had broken. To make a long story short, I tried taking the machine apart and then rebuilt it. Unfortunately, I got stuck on trying to figure out how to wire the machine up. Basically, what I ended up with was a machine for which I had no use.The least I could do was give the Huxley to a neighbor. I figured, maybe he could find a way to get it working okay. Since then, I have had second thoughts and decided to give the Huxley another try. Maybe my having had more experience building other 3D printing machines will help.
