Pharmagel Enzyme Ex-Cell - Gentle Papaya Face Exfoliator Scrub - Skin, 6 Oz

My mother-in-law who is an aesthetician recommended this to me. I have really bad millia, which are white bumps on your face and I have to get them removed and facials. Since using this exfoliate after every time I work out, they have not returned. My skin is really smooth, but never dry.

This is my third bottle! Mild enough for mature and or sensitive skin, but still does a great job exfoliating. Others have complained about product separating...I just shake the bottle/tube vigorously before each use and have had no problem.

This stuff is excellent for exfoliating Leaves your skin super soft.

I've used this product for a number of years. Although the price has risen considerably in a short period of time it is still a decent product. That said, my biggest complaint is product inconsistency from when the tube is new (when the product has a good moisture-to-granular ratio) to when the tube is half full and the product starts to become drier, less granular and somewhat cement-ish. This is the case even when the tube is regularly shaken and kneaded in a vain attempt to maintain textural uniformity. I find the contents of a capsule of liposomal vitamin c mixed with a bit of liquid facial cleanser is a good alternative that allows one to manage preferred consistency.

I've been using this scrub for years. I have very fair sensitive reactive skin, and almost every exfoliating product I've ever tried is way too harsh and burns my skin. I use Enzyme Ex-Cell 2-3 times/week in the shower, just gently smooth it around my face and neck, then let it sit on for a few extra minutes while I wash my body, then I rinse it all off. My skin immediately feels smoother. After my shower, I mist my face and neck, then apply a serum and a sunscreen/moisturizer. This keeps my 74 year old skin looking so fresh! I saw the review about the product coming out runny. That happens to me sometimes too, so I just massage the tube so the liquid mixes with the more solid part. Sometimes I cut the tube open with a kitchen scissors and put the stuff in a jar and mix it together until it's the right texture. Actually, I always cut the tube open when it's almost empty, and I scrape out all that's left and put it in a plastic jar for my shower. There's always a LOT LEFT in that tube! MANY more days of use. Totally worth the effort.

I love this face wash, and use it daily. It is a scrub, the product is not overly scratchy though. My face always feels clean and refreshed. No noticeable scent as well, which I really like. Only issue I have had is the shipping. It always arrives quickly, but usually is shipped in an envelope style package, rather than a box. Twice I have received it and it has opened or gotten squished, so it has leaked out. Other than that, I recommend it highly, and the price is what I have paid for it in Cosmo-prof or other stores for professional beauticians or stylists.

Keeps my skin clean and shrinks pores. Love it. Best for me.

I was so happy to find this product on Amazon. I have used this Exfoliating cleanser for years and my supplier has not been able to keep it in stock. It really cleanser your skin and smooths any rough patches.. highly recommended!
