How exactly IN PLAIN ENGLISH are you supposed to hold this to your face, side, tip, etc.?

Hold it gently to the face at a 90 degree angle and use a slow circular motion while holding your skin taught. I've found sometimes that I have to turn it upside down (with the switch side up). On more stubborn hairs try to align the hair with the tweezers. It also helps if you have a magnifying mirror. Hope this makes sense to you. Good luck.

Less than any other similar product, I would even say - it doesn't really hurt, but it depends on how much sensitive one's skin is.

anyone compare to bellabe facial hair remover? which one would u recommend?

I haven't used the bellabe, but this is my second Remington and I love it. I had the first one for years, before it finally started running slowly. I immediately ordered another one because I love it so much. I love it for my neck, because I can't see that area. All I have to do is run it over my neck a few times and I know there won't be any embarrassing hairs. This is an amazing product and is much cheaper now than it was when I bought it originally years ago.
