What is the minimum depth a desk top should be that fits this frame? It is clear what the min and max widths are but not the min/max depth.

The minimum depth we suggest is 30" deep. We base this off the desk frame product dimensions shown above of 30"D x 71"W x 49"H. Anything smaller than 30" would cause the frame feet to stick out past the desktop. I hope this helps!

How far off the ground is the stability bar? I'm hoping to have enough room to slide a treadmill underneath when the desk is raised up.

The cross bar is optional, but I would suggest it, thus frame is amazing. The heigh of the bar is plent high enough for a tread mill, I usually stand like a crane on one foot and prop the other on the cross bar, I’d est. it be approx. 14” to the top of the bar approx 11” to the bottom. Hope this helps, standing is enough do you really need to trip getting off and on something like a tread mill.... sorry just thinking out loud.

Looking at this for a music desk. Thoughts about how it would handle a 40lb keyboard tray on the front?

We recommend having weight evenly distributed across the top if possible. We have not tested for mounting third party accessories on our desks, so having a large amount of weight on the front edge may cause some issues with stability. This frame can lift up to 355 lbs (desktop weight must be factored in).
