I’ve been really pleased with the PFB Vanish Chromabright Ingrown Hair Treatment. It’s easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and has helped improve the look and feel of my skin. I love that it helps address ingrown hairs while also supporting a smoother, more even-looking complexion. After consistent use, my skin feels softer and looks healthier. It’s a great addition to my skincare routine, especially for areas that need extra care after shaving or hair removal. Definitely a product I would recommend.

Sorry in advance this is a long post. Hopefully this will help those who have experienced poor results with this product and prevent future issues. My background: I have been using this product for roughly 10 years. I use it for ingrown hair prevention on face and body, pigmentation issues, and general exfoliation. I have PCOS, and other hormonal imbalance issues so unwanted hair has always been an issue for me. I purchased this after a coworker asked if I had hickeys all over my neck😭😩, yes I had cyst sized bumps and concealer made them worse. This product IS A MIRACLE! There are some instructions with the original formula packaging but it is very basic. PFB works using salicylic acid in 2 forms and other ingredients to cause chemical exfoliation, similar to the action a facial peel uses. That means when you put it on IT MAKES YOUR SKIN PEEL over time. This information may seem obvious to some, but is lost on others (see negative reviews). With that being said, peeling is a good thing that's what prevents ingrown hairs. PFB gives fantastic results but can easily cause irritation, burning, redness and unattractive peeling if not handled correctly. TIPS: NEVER put this on wet skin this can cause superficial burns that take time to heal, pain, itchiness, and irritated areas. LET YOUR SKIN DRY AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE APPLYING. If you use this after any form of hair removal and you are unsure if your skin will be sensitive, try a light moisturizer and again allow to dry completely before application of PFB. Originally the product stated to apply leave for 5 to 15 minutes, rinse and moisturize. You can do this if you desire only light exfoliation, otherwise apply a light even coat and rub into the area and leave on. I use within 2 hours of hair removal consistently. I have ZERO ingrown hairs or blemishes IF I stay consistent. I noticed when I first started using it that I would have peeling in any areas within roughly 2 days, worse after applying lotion it would quickly become obviously dry and peel. Unacceptably embarrassing, so I began using a good quality mechanical exfoliant and it cleared the peeling right up after the first use (I add a small amount of microdermabrasion crystals to my facewash because they are rounded and cause less irritation). I also take my finger and apply a tiny amount of PFB to any small blemishes and they are gone quickly. Finally use good moisturizer as a final step for consistent results but make sure it doesn't have retinol or a similar exfoliant at least until you know how your skin reacts with this product. After I started using it, I would apply rub in and and go to bed. My husband asked what the sour smell was about the third day.......ugh. Yes it has a kind of vinegar smell, it goes away but takes maybe 30 minutes. For me not a deal breaker and the source of some entertainment at times. Also the texture is kind of sticky for about the same amount of time it takes the smell to go away, still completely worth it. This works, it's worth every penny.

I am someone I don’t usually write reviews, but this product is really good and it actually works. One thing I would say I can’t give it a five stars because I didn’t really notice it lightning my dark spots, but it did help immensely with ingrown hairs. Like seriously it’s magical. I barely got any ingrown hairs when I was using it and I purchased this product in September of last year and it lasted me until May. Maybe the reason why I wasn’t seeing my dark spots getting lighter is because I wasn’t really using it consistently. I would just use it for example if I get a wax to prevent ingrown hair that’s why I know it definitely works for ingrown hair. And if you’re debating between this and the peach slices I’ll 100% advise this product. I purchased the peach slices recently and it really didn’t work. Like I have only been using the peach slices for a few weeks so take my advice with a pinch of salt but with this product, I did notice the changes instantly compared to the peach slices.

I've been trying to use something that will help with dark spots and this works perfectly. After a week or two I noticed that my under arms lightened slightly. It does cause peeling of dead skin, but with exfoliating it removes it. This product works perfectly! I would recommend I will continue using it to see more results!

Works wonderful I am on my second bottle and works amazing will be ordering more since it provides a peeling effect, I use it everywhere in my body.

TL;DR: I bought this mainly for the "chromabright" claims. Pros: It is the only product that works for me after YEARS of sun damage and other ailments. Cons: Doesn't last long (for me) and the instructions don't say whether to rub the product in or let it dry naturally. Now on to the in-depth review. I've been using it on my arms and a few other places for a little more than a week and I have to say that this product is the fastest working product that I've tried. I have PCOS and hirsutism, which can cause dark areas in certain spots. I bought this mainly for my arms because when I was younger, I would play outside everyday with no sunscreen (which is a HUGE no-no, especially if you live in a hot, humid climate like the southern US), and my arms suffered terribly for it. They were at LEAST 3 shades darker than the rest of my body, which led me to feel very insecure about them. At the time of writing this review, it has lightened a lot (in my opinion), and I think that after 3-4 months of consistent use, they will be the same skin tone as the rest of my body (I will update my review with before and after pictures once I consistently use this product for at least 6 months). This product doesn't last very long (at least for me it doesn't; I've had it for a little over a week but it's almost empty. Maybe it's more intended for smaller surface areas rather than a whole arm or leg), and the instructions aren't clear on whether to rub the product in or let it dry naturally. I tried both and got a better result by rubbing it in because if I let it dry naturally, it would only leave white streaks on the areas. I use it twice a day (morning and night) and SOMETIMES three times a day. Hopefully this product is continued because this is the only product that I can depend on that also doesn't cost a fortune! Edit: They went up on this product by $10, making it $39.95 at the time that I'm updating my review. It was $29.95 the last time I ordered it, which was about a month ago. What gives? Nearly $40 for something that barely lasts a month is ridiculous! I won't be buying it until it comes down to the original price!

This stuff here is a game changer I purchased this because I was suffering from hair bumps due to razor shaving (No more razor shaving for me) and this product has been sitting my save later for a while so i decided to buy it and let me tell you my hair bumps are nawl existing and it easy to use and causes no skin irritation only when applying to the bumps but that’s only because the medicine that’s in it is working I literally use this everyday even if I don’t have hair bumps only because I love how it feels and helped my skin it absorbs very good and you get a good amount of product giving the size bottle it's in.

I have been having problems with ingrown hairs on bikini, underarm, and chin area for many years, and have tried various methods to either prevent or sooth irritation, none have worked. In the past I've had to sometimes lance and drain these bumps, they were so painful. I am a white female, and like many others who have reviewed this product, the ingrown hairs weren't just painful, they were embarrassing, and left dark scars on my skin. I found this product by accident while searching for a gentler deodorant, as some antiperspirants and deodorants tend to magnify the problem under my arms. I decided to give it a try since so many of the reviews were positive and described my exact problem. The PFB Vanish +Chromabright arrived very quickly, and I started using it the same day on several ingrown hairs on my underarms. Within just a day, I noticed that the painful bumps were significantly less swollen and red, and within a little over a week, all but one particularly ugly bump were completely gone. Even the dark scarring was gone for the first time in years! It took a little longer for the deeper ingrown hair to heal and disappear, but it eventually did. It is six weeks later, and I only have one tiny light scar from the largest of the bumps, and it continues to fade. No other bumps or ingrown hairs have appeared on my underarms. I started to get an ingrown hair on my chin, applied the PFB, and was able to pluck it the next day, applied more PFB for a few days and it was like it never happened. I have also been very surprised to find that it is preventing bumps, irritation, and ingrown hairs on my bikini area, as well. The smell of the product is not unpleasant, and disappears almost as soon as it dries (within about a minute). I recently got a rash on my cheek from getting a little too aggressive with my exfoliator and it almost bled. I applied the PFB, and it immediately soothed the rash. I was able to lightly dust it with mineral concealer powder to disguise it for one day until the rough skin peeled off, leaving my cheek just a little pink. I've never had my skin heal so quickly. I love this product and am ordering another. I'm also going to gift it to my two grown daughters who tend to experience the same problems with ingrown hairs and irritation I do. I definitely recommend this product.

Just with in 2days a was able to see visible results but also it has one side effect it kind of turns the skin crappy

Apenas me llego, llego bien llevo tres dias usándolo, tiene un olor fuerte a alcohol, la primera vez que me lo aplique en la cara me ardió, pero las siguientes veces que me lo he puesto ya es menor el ardor, y me estoy pelando un poco, leí que hay que hidratarse bien la piel, lo quiero usar para manchas de mi rostro espero funcione

I use it around my bikini line, vajayjay, and underarms for pigmentation and there's no reaction apart from peeling and slight tingling. Peeling process took a bit longer for me than usual. Mine took 3 weeks unlike others were within a week. Some parts are now absolutely LIGHTER (same as my asian skin tone) but most parts are still on process. Will still give 5 stars as I know IT WORKS 👌🏼
