These electric curlers are great. I find it easier and less time consuming than using a curling brush. The curl or fullness lasts longer and my arm doesn't get tired like it does using an electric heated curling brush.. it's faster, saves time, curl lasts longer.. in my opinion.. makes my life easier.

The number and sizes of rollers are just right for my short (4-6”) hair. However, because the rollers are hot, I hold onto the end caps as I roll up my hair. So some of the end caps have come off. I tried gluing them back, but they don’t stay. I’m trying to find a way to fix this problem as I use almost all the rollers everyday. I wrote the company, but I haven’t heard anything back. Other than this problem, this roller set works very well for me. I don’t see any other brand that meets my needs, so I trying to make this set work.

This little machine is very basic but gets the job done. I used the rollers after I dried my hair for about 10 min. and they produced a great curls. The velvet covered rollers make it easy to unwind your hair and it’s not too hot to touch. Unfortunately, there is no automatic shut off, so don’t forget to unplug the machine after you set your last roller.

I decided to use these for a month or so before reviewing them. Overall, I’m really pleased with the performance of these rollers. There are some caveats, but considering the great price point and consistency of good heat sets they’ve given me— I’m very pleased. These heat up VERY hot. It takes about 10-12 minutes for the indicator to show they’re ready (the red dot at the center roller changes to a whiteish color). If you use them before they heat up, you won’t get a proper set. If the rollers sit against each other too closely when heating up, they will burn the crap out of your fingers, haha. So be careful! Also, another tip is that each time you pull out a roller to use, close the lid to keep the heat in. I found this actually made a difference. As for the hold of the curl itself, I imagine everyone’s experience will vary, my hair DOES NOT like heat curls. The only way I can get hot rollers or curling iron curls to hold is with a setting spray. So, basically if I used these rollers by themselves without anything else, I probably would have flat hair within 30 minutes. But that’s just my experience, and the heating setting spray I use (from kenra) works really well in conjunction with these rollers. So— the quantity of rollers you get in one set is where I’m not a big fan of these. With only one set of hot rollers I wouldn’t be able to cover my whole head, so I had to purchase two. If you have really thick hair like me, this is really your best option, otherwise you’d be forced to roll too much hair into each roller and the heat wouldn’t penetrate through. With two of these hot roller sets I use about 30 (med and small) sized rollers. Mind you, I’m doing pinup/retro style looks so I need tighter curls to brush out. The container itself is plastic, but sturdy and very lightweight. I have no problem storing these under my sink and pulling them out every few days when I’m not using foam rollers for my hair. I know this review is kinda lengthy, but I’m hoping someone benefits from my experience!

What I like about this product? Yes, the rollers do achieve a good curl. They heat well; about 10-20 minutes for full heat. The case is convenient for travel. I liked that the pamphlet provided tips on how to roll for a specific style. I did Amazon pickup and the process to pickup was flawless. Just wish there was a closer pickup location to my residence. What I don't like about this product? It is not feasible for women with thick, coarse hair; especially black women. I have thick, coarse hair so to achieve a good silky curl, I had to straighten my hair (includes blow drying AND using my Chi iron) then roll. That is a lot of heat for one setting. Also, with my hair being so thick, I had to roll in sections because there are not enough rollers to roll my entire head in one sitting. Once the rollers cooled, I removed them & put them back to heat again (another 10-20 minutes) before I could start the next section. This is time consuming to achieve curls. It would be better if there was a larger unit with more rollers to accommodate those with thick, long hair. This way we could roll our entire head in one sitting. The instructions say NOTHING about how to clip the color coded wire roller pins. *TIP: DO NOT attach the wire roller pin with the longer side facing your scalp because the heat from the roller heats the wire pin and WILL burn your scalp. Yep, I burned my scalp!! Thanks for including clear instructions; NOT. Also, it states the roller has cool touch ends; not true. You do feel the heat on the ends so you better be quick about rolling & pinning. Would I buy again or recommend? Only if there was a larger unit with more rollers. For all I had to do to achieve a curl, I was better off using flex rods and sitting under a dryer. This product is more for needing a quick refresh, IMO.

I adore these. The curls last forever. I think they're better for short/ medium hair, the rollers are pretty small. Awesome quality, they don't burn your hair, price was great compared to in store. Arrived on time. Would also recommend roller clips instead of the metal pins. Still like new after almost a year, with regular use.

My rollers arrived promptly and work very well. They heated up quickly and although they are pretty hot to handle, I was careful to make sure my pin was ready so I could pop them on fast. I have very fine thin hair and the felt cushion helped hold them in place. In 10 minutes I had bouncy waves!! The curl doesn't last too long on my hair, but that's no fault of the rollers... it's just my hair.
