I've been searching for a fine or finer-than-fine blue-black Parker refill with no luck, until this item caught my eye. Except for not being a Space Pen pressurized refill (which is what I'd hoped for), it meets my specs, and it's very satisfactory! Edit December 2017: I had one refill leak out the breather port when the pen was stored upside down. It makes quite a mess, and of course the pen was hard to clean up. I'll start plugging the back ends with a toothpick (after making a teeny-tiny breather hole in or next to the toothpick) to prevent a recurrence. There's simply no reason for the breather to be as large as it is. I remain very happy with the refills and am ready to place another order.

Got these blue black extra fine refills to replace a 7 year old blue Parker fine point refill in one of my pens that was, understandably, starting to dry up. I’ve bought another Parker refill for another pen that seemed to be a shade lighter of blue than I expected. Not sure if the 7 year old refill’s ink just got darker with aging or what. These blue black refills are very close to the 7 year old ink I was replacing, so I’m happy. Be aware, tho, that, if you’re looking for a truly deep midnight blue, this isn’t it. But I’m fine with it. They got delivered within 24 hours, so that makes it even better.

It’s a smooth writing ink, no skips, no blobs, so that part’s very good. But it’s really light. It’s hard to read as you write, and hard to read for everyone else afterwards, and doesn’t copy well at all. See my photo. This ink on the left, a good Schmidt 9000 ink next to it. It looks like graphite pencil. It’s also just gray. Blue-black should be a navy blue. Maybe there’s a special use for this ink, but I don’t know what it could be.

I wasn't terribly impressed by this refill. First, the blue-black isn't really a satisfying blue-black. It just looks like a standard ballpoint blue. Second, I had a hard time writing with it comfortably. It just felt scratchy and would skip often at my normal writing angle, which, admittedly, is probably because of the extra-fine width. I feel like I need to write at an almost 90 degree angle to get a satisfying line. My unbranded Parker refill writes much better, though that's probably because it's thicker. Anywho, I didn't really love it, and I'll probably look for a gel refill in the future.

Fits Parker Style G2 pens. Overall, I like the dark blue color and even placement. It cross hatches well, and I think is a nice subtle blue option. See attached photo of an example under "Montverde 0.5 Blue/Black." Overall, I would suggest this pen ink to others in 0.5mm size. Thank you.

After a couple weeks of continyuse I found these to be more or less the same as some of my other fine tip refills. I was really hoping to find something finer than fine but the search continues for me. I also found these tips to be a little scratchy or inconsistent at times with the ink outflow. Maybe I got a newer batch with some faulty tips seeing how other reviews in the past have had mores success than myself.
