How much fuel does this treat?

The 16oz ounce bottle treats 120 gallons of diesel fuel. Use 2 ounces per 15 gallons of fuel for everyday use, and 4 ounces per 15 gallons of fuel for initial use and injector clean up.

All these reviews state this stuff works. How'd you determine cetane numbers? soot levels, without an opacity test?

My measure of performance is limited to the amount of soot observed on the transom of my boat @ 25.50 and 75 hours, ease of starting in cool temps and the amount of visible exhaust soot. I have not observe any signs of slime or alga in the fuel tanks or my racor 500 filters at inspection or replacement. I hope this helps.

low usage fuel treatment

Because of low sulfur fuel you need this additive. No problems with sludge or black mildew in fuel since I started using this product.

Arrived 2 days earlier than expected!

Works as advertised!

This product reduces soot substantially! I can't comment on the other claims. I have twin Volvo TAMD 63P diesel engines on my boat. They puff smoke terribly when spooling up through 1800 RPM. This produce reduces soot collection on my transom and virtually eliminates the black puff while coming up onto plane.

Great stuff. Completely eliminated the soot on the back of the boat. Can't speaf for performance or mileage but if I don't have to clean the transom every time I come it's well worth it.
