Beautiful! I had this in my wish list for Christmas. I have been wearing a $40 Timex indiglo for years but every 6 months both of the batteries die and I have to drive an hour and a half from our small town to get them replaced. I was drawn to the Ecodrive because its both dressy and casual but never needs a battery as long as it’s exposed to light on a regular basis. My husband gave this to me for Christmas, and I love it! It does glow in the dark if you charge the glow areas up under a bright light before going to bed. I put mine under one of those bright LED portable light switches. (Photo attached). This is a bit heavier than my old watch but once I wore it for a few hours I didn’t even notice anymore. I took it to have some links removed and it fits perfectly now. I went to the Citizen website and entered my model number yo find my watch’s instruction manual for setting it, it was pretty easy to follow. I absolutely love this watch and expect it to last me many years to come.

I have bought two of these watches over the past two years both as gifts. I bought one for my mom last year and this year I bought one for another family member. These watches have a fantastic presentation to be expected from Citizen. The watch comes in a stylish box with a hinged lid that has nice resistance to keep it closed until ready to open. The watch itself is very detailed and keeps great time. One of the watches I bought was a two tone silver with gold and it really pops when you open the box. I was new to the eco drive technology but seems to work well and there is no visible solar panels etc to take away from the beauty of the face plate. The only drawback is that the eco drive storage capacitor/battery is said to only be good for 15 to 25 years but is replaceable from what research I did on this watch before I made my first purchase. The watch comes with the time set pin pulled so watch is not running in transport. Once you push in the set pin, watch will begin ticking away. Overall these are very affordable watches for the quality you get and they make a fantastic gift. You can't go wrong with a Citizen timepiece.

The style and face size is great for my smaller wrist. I had to remove 4 links, two on each side of the watch band. I like how the band closes and it does not get caught and open accidentally. The watch keeps accurate time. My one and a major disappointment for me is the luminous hands and markers. This watch can sit in sunlight for 8 hours or more and the luminous hands glow for about an hour and the markers don't glow at all Luminous hands were one of the main reasons I decided on this watch. The quality Citizen watches have, I never expected this issue. I never had such weak luminous hands on my cheap watches.

Out of 4 citizen eco drive silver with gold accent women’s watches tested, we found this to be by far the most handsome of the lot. It is classic, subtle and beautiful. Although not numbered, it is easy to read, and we love the day feature, which is uncommon. Some of citizen similar watches have difficult to read dates but this one was more clear to us. The accenting on the case is detailed and looks durable. The watch face has a very subtle reflective circular pattern, reminiscent to a CD or record, which illustrates the quality of detail. I am hopeful that the watch will keep its beauty and functionality for many years. If you are in the market for this style, I highly recommend this watch. There was one more eco drive with an opalescent watch face, that I also liked, but ultimately thought the details on this watch appear slightly higher quality and it is easier to read.

I purchased this for my wife's Christmas present. She described what style she liked and this matched up perfectly. I like it because it's an Eco-Drive and will not have to deal with a battery for a long time, if ever. The Eco-Drive I have has not needed anything for going on 8 years. Adjusting the the band was easy enough, providing you have tools available to do it. Probably best to have a watch repair place do it, all though, being able to take a link out at a time is convenient to ensure a perfect fit is achieved, which she wore the watched and I made an adjustment as needed. Check YouTube for videos on how to do this, if your unfamiliar with the process, or if you are, because there are many ways and style bands.

Bought this for my wife. She has been looking for a women's watch that is small, elegant but not flashy looking, easy and secure on/off chain, and does not require frequent battery change. This watch fits all the criteria, plus it has a matching design for man. So not only it ended her search for the 'ideal' watch, but also she was so happy that she bought the matching piece to return me the favor, that was a bonus. We like the surface design's simplicity, also appreciate the fluorescent hands and dots that illuminate in the dark. The 2-tone design has just the right amount of gold mix that adds to the elegance without being flashy. Citizen also did a good job in keeping the women's design smaller than most comparable pieces and still retained all the desirable features, including the sweeping second hand. Used them for 3 months so far, with their Eco-drive and water-resistant to 100 meters, we expect them to last for years. Highly recommended for those like the design.
