The Citizen Women’s Eco-Drive Dress Classic Watch is absolutely beautiful and lives up to the quality you expect from Citizen. I love not having to worry about battery replacements, and the watch keeps excellent time. It’s lightweight, comfortable on the wrist, and the face is clean and easy to read. This watch is perfect for a small wrist! I'll admit that the date is small, but that is to be expected on this size watch. I like that it is two-tone, so it will go with any other jewelry and the mother-of-pearl face is classy. I was looking for a durable watch that would be an alternative to my clunky plastic banded dive watch - which I was wearing everyday due to its durability. I also wanted a watch that doesn't require a battery change and is solar driven. Some people here say that solar watches only have a limited number of battery years, but my other Citizen watches made specifically for scuba diving have been going on 15 years - and I do use them for diving. I even bought a second Citizen scuba watch - identical to the first, since I scratched the crystal while fossil hunting (carrying rocks) and have trouble reading it underwater. Both watches are still going strong! This watch can be work casual, or dressed up and is not imposing or over-stated. As others have said, it is simply elegant. I'm still not certain how to set the date, and as soon as I have some extra time will look this up. I know that most watches with the analog date do not know how to discern one month from another (and the day variability), so it is necessary that I learn how to set it easily if I'm to use it for that purpose. When I figure this out, I may write an update. Update: No secret to setting this analog watch date. It is the same for all of them. Instead of traveling to pay a jeweler. And I now have my own tools to do this myself, if it needs size adjustment again. Good looking and great watch!

This watch is spectacular. I searched for weeks for a solar-powered watch - I can't begin to say how sick I am of paying to replace batteries on my old watch. I wanted a watch that's somewhere between professional and casual, solar, subtle, bling-free (why do modern watches all have tacky sparkly stones all over them?), small (I have tiny wrists), durable, pretty, feminine but not overpowering, and easy to coordinate with basically everything I own short of dressy evening wear. Essentially, I wanted a decision-free watch that I can put on every morning without thinking twice about it, and have it work perfectly, match perfectly, and keep perfectly accurate time. This watch does all of those things, and I'm absolutely in love with it. The mother of pearl face is quite subtle, but it catches the light beautifully in flashes of delicate pinks and greens (reminds me of the northern lights). I had to remove all but one of the extra links to make it fit my small wrist, but it does fit. I've owned it for just over a month, worn it every day and so far it shows absolutely no signs of wear. The minute and hour hands glow in the dark - perk. Assuming the solar battery holds up as advertized, this watch is about as perfect as a watch can be for me. If anything goes amiss, I'll update my review accordingly. Edited to add: I wrote my original review on June 15, 2013 after about a month of ownership. It has now been almost two years, and I'd just like to add that this watch is everything that I had hoped it would be. I've worn it, quite literally, every single day since I bought it, and it shows virtually no signs of wear and tear. The crystal is in perfect condition, and I haven't exactly been gentle with it. The Eco-Drive has worked exactly as promised. I just came back to purchase a second Citizen Eco-Drive watch (smaller, for dressier occasions), and I can't imagine ever needing to try another brand again.

The image online portrays the watch a bit darker than the actual watch itself. For a better idea of the actual shade look at the image of the watch on the "wrist". The "rose gold" color on this watch is very light which I love because it doesn't have the "cheesy" gold look. The watch is solid and does not feel light or heavy. The mother of pearl face is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and yeah the date box is a bit small but I am still able to see it with no problems. Also I was very surprised that the hour & minute hands do illuminate in the dark! I am Asian with a small wrist so I had to take out about 6 links to make it fit, but the way they made the links on this watch it does not detract from the style one bit. Have to say that it the best watch I've had so far... The watch would be perfect except for the fact that it does scratch. Then again I'm pretty rough and active so I believe that would be partially my fault. All in all the quality of this watch for the price I purchased it was ONE OF THE BEST DEAL I got from Amazon.com and honestly this is not my first Citizen, but it is my first eco-drive from them. I've had the watch for only two weeks, but hope to keep for a long time. I have a loyalty to Citizen watches so I guess that makes me a bit bias.

I took the pictures before ripping out the protective plastic strips. But it's a keeper! I love everything about it. I own another one (blue dial) from the same brand and I can say that they are both excellent watches. The mother-of-pearl dial on this one is so delicate and not annoyingly shiny. The overall watch is not annoyingly shiny, which I like. The "rose gold" tone is very muted and just adds elegance to it. The measurements in the description are spot on. The clasp is smooth and easy to use. The dial has just enough contrast that I can read the time immediately. Versatile, light, beautiful! The only thing I personally don't care about is the day counter and my blue dial one has it too. I don't bother settind it at all, but it's not a reason to take a star away from an otherwise perfectly good watch. The eco drive works great. Highly recommend it!

I love this watch. I wanted something classic, slightly feminine that would not make me itch & that was easy to use. This is made of stainless steel so I don't itch. It is easy to change the time. The date is a little tricker but I was able to fiddle with it & figure it out. I love that is is powered by light so I'll never need to change a battery. If you have small wrists it's a little big but you can take links out so that is negligible. The date is a little difficult to read if you don't have great vision but that's ok. I've got glasses that give me 20/25 vision so it just takes me moving it around a little to hit the light right. I love the mother of pearl face for that feminine touch. And I love that it is not super flashy. I've worn this pretty much every day for the last few months since I've gotten it. I haven't gotten it adjusted yet because life has been busy but it looks great. It will look better once the links are removed but it stays on my wrist so that's what matters. And it's simple design means it goes with almost everything.

This was a gift for my wife. She's been telling me that she's wanted a new wristwatch for years now. She formerly worked in a jeweler's shop so she's a bit picky when it comes to things like watches. She wanted something that she knew would be easy to get repair parts for in the unlikely event that it ever had to be repaired. She's mentioned that brands like Citizen had readily available parts and were overall easy to repair by independent shops if needed, (though I expect no issues). She specifically said she didn't want a Fossil because her old Fossil watch failed and a jeweler couldn't repair it without sending it in to the manufacturer for in-house repair which was not worth the cost. She loves the watch. She told me that it was exactly what she was expecting. It has a distinctly feminine design and it's size is great for a petite frame. It's small, but not tiny and the face is clearly legible. The design would really fit in with nearly any situation. She wears it to work and out to dinner in the same day and it'll work with just about any look/outfit. I really like the mother-of-pearl watch face; it flashes some subtle blue/green colors when it hits the light right. The watch is stainless steel, so no precious metals but that helps keep the price down on an really nice looking watch. It's been running for the last 4 months and time has been dead-on so I expect it keeps time perfectly. The Eco-Drive feature is really nice; it's solar powered and recharges a lithium battery that never needs replacing.

Non comprerò mai almeno l’orologio per internet una beffa totale,pensavo che solo fosse la batteria vb può capitare però cambiando anche la batteria non funziona nemmeno.
