I’ve switched to glass nail files because they’re much gentler on natural nails than traditional emery boards, and this set has been fantastic. Amazing! Tried it out right away and in a few minutes my nails looked clean, bright and healthy. I did an internet search for info on glass files and it is all good. Because of the very fine abrasion it is better for your nails than sandpaper files because of much more fine texture that does not lead to later splitting, peeling, jagged edges or drying out. The directions on the box say to file in one direction only, but all the info on the internet said to file back and forth or any direction, which I did and immediately the high polish started to reveal. Clean by rinsing with plain water or a little alcohol and finish with a dab of oil or moisturizer on your nails. Do a quick search and find out the many benefits which includes a natural shine lasting 2-3 weeks (looks like clear nail polish but the feel is your own nails), and the files lasting for years. I want to take a long break from nail salons and so glad I found these. You get two, one is squared at the end and the other has a rounded end, they are a sturdy thickness and each is in its own fitted case. Very nice and compact to easily toss in your purse or cosmetic drawer. Price is insanely reasonable.

These little nail shinners are amazing. Best money I've spent in a while. The really shine my nails nicely and it doesn't take hardly any time to do it. Very high quality product and fast shipping. Definitely will buy again .

Not great. When I bought this set, I also bought a more expensive glass nail file. Spend the money! The more expensive file was noticeably better. These files pulled at my nails and left them rough. Not terrible, but I won’t be using them again.

Om my goodness. This is unbelievable how amazing it makes my nails look. It shines them to the point where it looks like I've put clear polish on, and when I rub them against my face they have the super smooth plastic kind of feel. There's no polish, so I can have shiny nails at work (doctor) with this. I've cleaned it just with soap and water and keep it in its case. As I use my hands and the super shiny surface of my nails are marred, it wears really well, unlike if I had varnish on and it chips or scratches. Things that could be improved on: having the buffing surface go all the way to the edges. There's a millimetre or so of my nail I can't buff next to my cuticle because the surface doesn't go all the way to the edge. The buffing surface is only on one side, so it could be on both but it doesn't really bother me. Short answer: very, very highly recommend if you want shiny nails at all, but especially if you work in an industry with nail varnish banned.
