3M Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge/Filter P100

This review might be a little biased considering that the reviewer has never encountered a 3M product that was anything less than superb. The first order that I made for these I noticed had bizarre looking expiration dates and codes and I was a little spooked. So I ordered some more to double check the font and apparently this is just how 3M fashions the variable markings in this area on this particular product. So if you observe that just know that that's normal for 3M organic vapor respirator cartridges. I love these because maintaining operational lungs is not an option it's it's a mandatory criteria. These cartridges prevent 99 plus percent of the airborne particulates whether dry solid or aerosol vocs not Even a hint of noxious scent slips past these cartridges. They're about 50% more durable and last longer than the other brands that I have used in the same classification and I like the peace of mind that comes with using 3M products because I know that they have been adequately tested and have passed a more stringent set of challenges then probably most other air filtration products that serve this market. I confidently and enthusiastically recommend these 3M 60923 organic vapor/acit gas cartridges. You can't go wrong with these. For the stated purpose I'd say their best in class.

I did a ton of work that required both vapor and raw material filtration and these were fantastic. Didn’t smell a thing and they fit snug and aren’t too bulky. Keep buying them.

I have a small knife sharpening business and I make sure to use these with my 3M mask anytime I’m sharpening. I don’t want to breathe in the metal particles. And these work great. I once tried to sharpen some knives without the mask and it was a bad idea my chest was sore and I was coughing up stuff for about a week. The knives were hand made in china so I have no idea what kind of metal was used. I know it wasn’t good though. But with these I don’t have to worry about that at all. It really brings me great peace of mind knowing I won’t have to deal with that again If I’m using these. Absolute recommend for anyone sharpening knives!

In my line of work (Think first responder, Coroners Office), I occasionally have to respond to situations where decomposing matter such as a dead body that’s been left rotting for long periods of time are present. Anyone who’s been unfortunate enough to experience such an odor knows how distinctly sickening that odor is. These filters (60923) filter out the odor completely making it impossible to smell and be effected by the rancid smell of decomposing matter. Well worth the money.

So glad I found this respirator and these 3M P100 Respirator Cartridge/Filter 60923. My son has one that he uses for art projects, wood shop, metal fabrication, and more, and thought why not. The quick release version is the best and these filters fit perfectly. Last a long time, and can't smell anything, not even glass cleaner or bleach. I'm making it a rule to replace the filters every 100 hours of use. P.S. Amazon Haul for the win, got these cheaper than regular Amazon page. Enjoy! :)

The organic gases and vapours were coming from a 30/70% proportion of Isopropyl alcohol to cleaning grade vinegar solution. This mix was used to remove lime/soap scale from a shower enclosure. The filters were necessary to avoid breathing in the fluids while working in this tight space. The filters worked flawlessly and allowed me to work to completion without interruption. It was far easier to order these here than to get this particular filter from any of the brick and mortar stores.

I bought this with a 3M full facemask resperator for painting parts of my car. When adjusted properly to an exact fit and with these filters, I had ZERO traces of paint fumes or particles. I was using an acidic self-etching primer so you cannot risk breathing it. Around $200 for mask and filters...worth every penny! Also purchased peel-away face shield protectors...a must to avoid overspray from damaging the clear shield. The best safety gear I have bought yet.

Llegó a tiempo excelente precio, completamente cerrado con fecha de vencimiento de casi 5 años. Los he utilizado en área covid, funcionan muy bien, un detalle que no tome encuenta y tuve que comprar otro modelo, fue que en la cara externa tiene ranuras de ventilación si no se protege con un cubrebocas que le dé ese toque impermeable podrían mojarse con sangre o fluidos, doy 5 estrellas por qué su diseño no fue con un fin médico, si los recomiendo tomando en cuenta la ventilación externa, para gas excelente para fluidos es algo que hay que cuidar si se usa con fin médico o se trabaja con líquidos.
