Columbia Men's Rapid Rivers Pant

I usually wear denim jeans because they’re loose; however I can never find comfortable pants that fit me. They are usually baggy and tend to sag. I started wearing pants like these which are as comfortable as denim jeans and have the same functionality. There are 4 standard pockets and a small accessory pocket on the right just like regular jeans. The pants are lightweight and stretch a little in the crotch, hips, thighs and knee areas when bending or crouching. The pockets are deep enough for me for various uses such as concealing a snub nosed revolver in the front pocket. Definitely deep enough to fit your hands in the pocket comfortably. It fits a 1.5” belt easily. The zipper is high quality and the top is secured with a button. I was impressed by the price, and I have used Columbia products for 30 years. The pants were made overseas in Asia. The fit was perfect though I could have gone one inch shorter for length. Overall I have been pleased with these pants.

I like them - I bought two pair. They're very comfortable and lightweight, if that's what you're looking for. I got them for the hot & humid areas that I live & work in. The trade-off is that they may be more susceptible to wear & tear than heavier duty pants. I think they can be dressed up or down, depending on shirt & shoes, making them pretty versatile.

Good summer weight fabric, roomy fit, true to size.

Have a great pair of columbias that have lasted years. Heavy duty, jean-like pants. Researched all of the pants yall have available online and these were the only ones that slightly resembled the ones I have. These pants are a great fit and comfortable but much thinner than the current pants so not good for winter wear. Naming the pants is great but the name is nowhere on the pant or tag itself which makes searching super challenging. Will keep these for warmer weather but would LOVE some feedback about which pants I am looking for.

I have six pair - they fit well, made of light fabric but sturdy. I just wish they had odd sizes.

It fits short. I purchased a 44w x 34L. The labels on the pant indicates the correct size ordered; but when I tried it on, it fits short. Seems to be a length 30 instead.

Very comfortable to work in

Was sick of wearing heavy dickies work pants while out fishing and had the thought, “what about fishing pants? Is there such a thing?” There is, and these are my new favorite pants. Would of preferred them in a black but wasn’t available in my size and not paying $65 elsewhere so I got the graphite color. They do kind of feel like I’m wearing custodian pants or scrubs because it’s more of a blue/graphite I think, but oh well I’m just not used to looking at them. Little bit of stretch for those troubled areas, deep enough pockets to loose my change in line at the store and they’re lightweight so hot days aren’t an issue. 10/10 for the actual product, 8/10 for my personal color preference. Good work Columbia. And you can also wear these for more than fishing, you can drive in them, watch tv or even pet the dog, they’re simply great! Homer Simpson once asked, “Don’t you hate pants?!” And I reply, “Yes, but not THESE pants.”

Nice and comfy light weight trousers. Got them in 36w 32leg, slightly larger around the waist compared to my other columbia pants, shrunk in the wash a tiny bit but not much. Would bye again.
