Reliable, dependable and the internal parts are still compatible with older dispensers
We have been using several of these dispensers in our church and after eleven years we have had only one stop working: The gel-pack collar retraction motor. I purchased this new one and found that the motor/battery unit was still the same size and snapped right in so I didn't have to mess with the adhesive backing.

Everything You Need To Know
This is the best way to dispense soap. Why touch something everyone else touches after doing their business when you are trying to get clean? In the March 2011, Journal of Environmental Health published a study which showed that one in four bulk soap dispensers are infected with hazardous levels of bacteria. They also found that there was zero contamination found within sealed dispensing systems like these hands-free models. After washing with contaminated dispensers, hands had 25 times more bacteria on them!! FYI, this is the same exact dispenser as the following (aside from logo and color). Just buy the cheapest one.: Purell 2720 Purell 2729 Purell 2780 Purell 2790 Gojo 2730 Gojo 2740 Gojo 2789 Gojo 2799 Micrell 2750 Provon 2745 Some Facts: Gojo owns Purell, Micrell, and Provon. Gojo estimates up to 30,000 uses on the included C-size alkaline batteries. These dispenser accepts 1,000 mL or 1,200 mL TFX refills of gel or foam (sold separately). The trick to all of the above dispensers is that they accept any refill that has a grey nozzle. Here are the refills you can purchase: SOAP: Micrell 5357 Foam Gojo 5361 Foam w/ Conditioners Gojo 5362 Foam Gojo 5364 Foam E2 Gojo 5665 Foam Green Gojo 5369 Foam with PCMX Provon 5344 Foam with PCMX Provon 5382 Foam Green Provon 5383 Foam Provon 5388 Triclosan w/ Conditioners "Sanitizers": Purell 5384 Foam Purell 5391 Foam Green Purell 5392 Foam Purell 5393 Foam E3 Purell 5398 Foam Purell 5399 Foam Purell 5451 w/ Dermaglycerin Purell 5456 Gel Purell 5457 Gel Purell 5491 Gel Green Purell 5496 Gel Purell 5592 Foam Purell 5389 Foam w/ Conditioners Lastly, there are two TFX models that only accept FDA approved Healthcare Handwash and Surgical Hand Scrubs (without electrical modification): Provon 2745 Purell 2785 Why are these TFX models more expensive? Why can't you use any other TFX soaps in these dispensers? No one knows and Gojo isn't telling. I've asked several times via their website (with no response). The only difference between the cheaper dispensers and the expensive ones is the removable color-coded "key" that is installed inside. If you want to use medical soaps in regular dispensers, you just need to replace they color-coded key, which isn't available for purchase from Gojo. Regular soaps/"sanitizers" are grey nozzle and surgical scrubs/antiseptics have a white nozzle or a red nozzle. Aside from swapping the key, I won't tell you how to bypass this. Bad installation design!!
The electronics on this item work fine but the tape it comes with to install it is really garbage. This device is quite large and to think a hand santizer pouch to fit in it will also be large. This in my mind already shows that there will be weight on the item so you will need good support so it doesn't fall. Alas purell puts a thick sticker on the back, the size of the entire back, and no drywall screws or screws of any kind. So I thought maybe it is industrial strength sticker will be enough. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!! the device fell the first time in 20 minutes, it thought well maybe i just didn't let it sit long enough to stick. Nope it fell again and broke!!! The worst part is that yes i could go and buy some drywall screws and anchors myself and install it, but the sticker covers the entire back so it is hard to see where the holes will line up. In any case do not use the sticker on the back, waste of money. Go to Home Depot and get the right tools, don't be like me and trust the manufacturer.

Good
The packages were delivered quickly and were well packaged. Our church has used this system for about 6 weeks. The dispensers do not "mess up" the decor - a concern for some. They are just enough "there" that they are easy to see. The instructions were somewhat confusing, but anyone can assemble them. It does not take an engineeering degree.. We haven't had them long enough yet to know for sure, how long a fill will last. From what I read online, I expect to get about 1200 pushes per refill. Only time will tell us how long to expect refills are going to last in our busy congregation of 400. - We have not had problems with children playing with or wasting the solution. - We have received positive feedback from the congregation about the inclusion of this itme in the common areas.. - The dispenser has not dripped on the carpet - the shield works well, though it does not seem to be catching much, if anything. -.The plastic seems sturdy enough to hold up. - The floor stand holds the dispenser solidly. - The alsohol-based solution is easy on the hands, does not have a medicinal smell, is not sticky-feeling, and does not make the user feel as if s/he needs to find hand lotion. I would recommend it to others considering this purchase.
