Costa Farms Fiddle Leaf Fig, Live Indoor Plant, Floor Plant, Statement Tree

Arrived perfectly healthy and ready to repot. I’ve had great success with all plants ordered from Costa Farms!

ordered this as a gift on 12/16/2025 and it got here beautiful, intact and well packaged on 12/22/2025. We had unseasonably warm sunny weather with highs in the upper 70’s so I carefully placed it on the deck for the afternoon sun for a few hours about 3 days in a row . I noticed the first day most of the leaves had liquid fertilizer residual ( like miracle grow maybe) The 3rd day of warm sunshine I completely removed the brown wrapper The leaves looked and felt dry so the next day I gently used a lukewarm damp cloth in attempt to remove some of the bright green fertilizer residual. The topsoil under the plastic wrap was dry so I gave it a 1/2 cup drink of water as directed. I was so worried that I would not be able to keep this plant alive until my son’s girlfriend got here. I’ve never had a green thumb so they scare me a little. And My black thumb did not disappoint. I checked on the plant this morning which has been living in a warm room west facing room and BOOM ! Dead leaves everywhere and it looks like it would go great at the Addams Family’s or The Munsters house. Soooo very disappointed because I was so careful. My son and GF will be here tomorrow and I just want to trash the whole thing. No more plants For me. Spent way too much money over the years without zero luck.

Very healthy plant! This was such a nice size. It was packed very well, delivered carefully, and was in perfect condition when received. I have had it a couple of months and it still looks great! I think Costa Farms has great products!

I looked at all the reviews and decided to take a leap of faith. I have been wanting to order a fiddle leaf fig for over a year and decided to pull the trigger. I’m very disappointed to say that this tree is not healthy. The over all size is alright. It came in right under 5 ft. It was packaged nicely. When I opened the box I immediately saw small dark spots all over 50% of the leaves. I thought maybe it was from being shipped and it needed some water, sun and TLC. Well fast forward 5 days and all the spots had grown into quarter sized black spots. 2 days later they had doubled in size and leaves began to fall off. I researched extensively on how to take care of these trees and though this was my first time with one I knew I hadn’t over watered and it hadn’t gotten too much sun. I’m almost positive it has a fungal or bacterial infection. I checked the roots for root rot and couldn’t determine anything from that. This tree is non-returnable but Amazon did refund my money so I’m very thankful for that because $80+ is a lot for a diseased tree. Very happy with Amazons customer service, they always take care of you! But I would NOT recommend buying a tree online. It seems some people receive great trees and some don’t so it’s a shot in the dark. I will wait until I can purchase one in person! Pictures are from after about 10 leaves had fallen off or had to be cut off. These spots keep getting bigger until half the leaf is black! The tree did look a lot fuller before the 10ish leaves had died!

It’s took almost a week to get here from Florida to Seattle during. With one of the biggest heat waves in the country. I figured after all of that time in a box and multiple trucks and warehouses I would get a dead plant. But I was surprised to find plants in great condition. One fell off but that’s to be expected and it’s normal for a plant like this. I would expect that it would be some problems adjusting to my location and wanted to wait a little bit before writing this review but it’s been here for almost a month and it has not changed it’s doing quite nicely are used to manage a greenhouse many years ago and you don’t know what to look for and I think this is going to be a fun addition it’s a beautiful plant filled with leaves that are right and the leaves are close together which shows they had enough light. There is a bit of confusion when I look at the order right now it says two day delivery but I know it took over a week and I don’t know if I was expecting it in two days or whether and it took longer or whether the two Days refers to if I would divide it again. I do remember when I was trying to look up delivery date information I had trouble finding it it took me to their website and they had submitted it but it didn’t say when it actually shipped. In summary the plant is beautiful it’s it was arrived in great shape and had it been late and damaged I’m sure I would’ve been able to have it taken care of. I’m very pleased with the plants the container the potting mix nice inspected for insects and it’s absolutely clean.

I was super reluctant to buy a plant on Amazon but wow was I surprised. This thing is gorgeous and so easy to take care of! So glad I took a chance on it

I sat on this review for a few months to see how the plant does. I am a newer plant mom but after successfully keeping several other plants alive for over a year, I felt I might have what it takes to care for a fiddle leaf fig. They are notoriously harder to manage. The plant came in great shape and has been thriving. At this point if something bad happens it would be due to my ineptitude. The unexpected awesomeness with this purchase was a trial of an app called Greg. It has been great. I am tracking my plant care for this and my other plants and they are all growing like crazy. I would buy this all over again and I will for sure be buying from this seller again.
