The brass is not has bold or gold as it appears on the photo ( I was slightly disappointed in the color as I wanted it to look yellow gold like picture) either way its a really good looking door stopper. Unfortunately my door is too low and the door stoppers tip is not slender enough to slide under my door. I can't even use it. But its worth trying to fit it under your door

I was hoping for gorgeous gold doorstops to accent other bright gold decor in my home. These doorstops are dull brassy brown colored, not shiny gold as they look in the photo. They still work as doorstops, but, just know what you're getting is not the same as the photo

Too slick for carpet unless you force it under the jamb of the door which then flakes paint off of your door and onto the product. Otherwise a very nice looking and sturdy product.

It’s not actually gold like in the picture. False advertising. It’s more like a tarnished color not a bright yellow gold like jewelry. Put it next to a grey/silver laptop & gold watch for reference because that’s the color I was expecting and what it shows in the product picture. It’s closer to the grey than the gold because it’s soo dull and muted. Obviously it does the job because it’s a door stopper, but the point was I wanted a gold one and this ain’t it sis…especially for the price. Just buy a regular ole door stopper or do a DIY gold color because this isn’t it.

I don’t feel that these grip the floor as well as other door stops, but this one looks great and is high quality materials

These door stops are attractive, practical and good value for money. I wanted something that was subtle but effective. I recommend them highly.
