Bought to clean the carburettors from my motorcycle which were all gummed up with stale fuel, cleaned the residue without any damage to the castings and the brass jets. The cleaner has performed very well and if anything has exceeded my expectations, well worth the cost and has paid for itself in savings by doing this job myself instead of paying a third party to do the cleaning for me.

I think it’s great value. I’ve used sonics for years and this works just great for me.

I dislike the wire handles on the basket, they are too short and so too close to the heated liquid. Second, the heater at 250W is too small takes an age to heat up. Best filled with hot liquid at the syart.

After 1st use cleaning oily gunky bike cassettes and chains I am very impressed with this unit. A glug of bike degreaser and 20 mins did the trick . The 10l version is slightly larger than you really need for cycle parts and I am sure the 6l would be more than suitable. The unit is well made and overall very pleased.

Noisy and takes forever to heat up, doesn’t even remove the lightest of dirt, complete waste of money, I even brought the correct cleaning solution and still no good, waste of money

Works ok but doesn’t give the dazzling results you see on tv. Used it mainly on car parts. Could be the fluids I’m using I suppose, and they are expensive - no matter which machine you use.

Works way, WAY better than my first unit. Quality of build, sound emission, effectiveness, value- all are here. I could go on and on comparing this one to my first, but I'm too tired. Trust me, this one, it's legit.

I purchase a lot of tiny plastic toys in bulk, and this speeds up the process in cleaning small plastic parts - although in shorter batches, but more thoughoughly. For ABS plastic, warm antibacterial soapy water alone does wonders, and I run it at 40C/104F for 5 minutes for most batches. UV prints and stickers remain undamaged, as well as cloth capes. You'll need a little laundry mesh bag for delicates or something similar to keep pieces from floating or sinking below the included basket, and makes it easy to remove everything and toss in the next bag. I'm no longer going through a warm soak process that lasts hours with occasional agitation and tooth brushes for hard to reach places - this is a time saver. There is a minor issue with the temperature sensor and heating element, in that you'll often see it +/- 2 degrees from the target temperature. Another minor issue is having to manually reset the timer after each cycle, rather than resetting on its own. The sound is not too loud, but can get annoying if you sit next to it. The lid amplifies the sound, so you may want to get rubber feet or a rubber seal for the lid if you use it. I also have this setting on a rubber mat to help with the sound, but the rubber feet already deafen the sound which makes this unnecessary. A door to a separate room is fairly effective at blocking most of the noise as long as you have some music or background sound to take your mind off of it. You may need a hose and a hose clamp to drain water to a nearby sink, which is not included. A tea ball strainer is recommended if you are cleaning small parts such as earrings or necklaces.

Works better than expected. Noisy, but it is on a timer and in my garage so no issue. Used to clean oily and dirty parts. Great results!

this ultrasonic cleaner works very well ,use it to clean carburators and other automotive componants as well as tools . will accept a 4 barrel carb no problem. would recomend.
