Great for sensitive skin.

Absolutely love this product! The serum is light and did not leave my face feeling greasy or oily. Instead, my skin is brighter, softer and hydrated. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth. A small amount definitely goes a long way!

After a couple weeks of 2x@day use, the texture of my 50 yo skin smoothed.This is a more intense Vitamin C.With every use, I could feel a tingle, which did fade.I've tried quite a few Vit C products as I've aged & my skin texture has changed.I've also used Glycolic to help soften & fade sun damage.Ahhh, if only I applied daily sunscreen.This serum is one of the better ones I've tried.No weird smell. Easy to use pump. The dropper ones seem to be a waste.Layers well under a moisturizer.Keep in mind Vit C is intense treatment for older skin.I tried it in my late 30's & thought my face was on fire.Vit A & at home Glycolic scrub was all I needed then.If you have sensitive skin, you may want to try a small patch first.You can also cocktail the Vit C with moisturizer.Which is, you mix them together & apply, instead of applying in steps.Hope this helps

I was very excited about this product since I’ve heard so many good things from people I know.I have oily/combination skin and I found this serum not moisturizing at all. My skin didn’t absorb the serum. After a couple of days, I started to breakout.

Not a great experience with this face serum, It had an unpleasant smell (honestly can't describe what it smelled like as I've never encountered anything like it before) and it felt sticky after being applied to the face.Did it leave skin feeling hydrated? Yes, but only because of the sticky factor. Definitely not something you want to use as a bedtime routine unless you feel like sticking your pillow. Can't imagine as a morning routine either. Applying makeup after use would be impossible.

I wanted to try this serum out for a little while before I wrote this review so I could give you more than my first opinion. First of all it's a very light product of an oil texture. But soaks into the skin quikly leaving it nicely moisturized and soft. You can continue your make-up routine in minutes after application. I have had no problems with irritation, redness or peeling as you sometime get with a retinol produt. I do have rather sensitive skin.I have use it for 3 weeks twice a day. In the morning and at bedtime.I do have to admit that the smile lines under my eyes have mellowed a great deal 👍 the skin instead of being rarher sunk in has plumped up. So much that my daughter noticed it and I had not mentioned to her about using this product.I worked so well for me that I will definitely be keeping this in my quest for the " Fountain of Youth"The bottle also goes a long way. You only use a few drops a day.Highly Recommended!

This serum feels pretty lightweight and is easy to spread onto your face. I use this serum two times a day as a finishing up product in my daily routine, morning and night. It feels slightly oily to me, I was a little worried the first time when I used it that if it will cause breakouts since my skin type is oily. After 4 days usage, I actually have no breakout. Meanwhile, I notice my skin tone is brighten a little bit. Also, the fine lines around my eyes, they are less noticeable now. When I look at myself in the mirror, I can feel that my whole face looks a little bit cleaner than before. For 4 days usage, this is pretty good.I like this serum and I will continue using it as my daily serum.

C Defense Serum is a nice product for softening and tightening your skin. It’s a clear soft liquid that spreads nicely on your skin and feels and smells good. Vitamin C has many benefits for your skin and I highly recommend giving this serum a try because of it’s moisturizing properties alone. It tingles in a great way when applied and seems to tighten the skin.
