Fantastic tape for rug on carpet
Fantastic tape, we used to stick down our large rug to the current carpet. Previously tried all sorts of things inc heavy furniture. This tape does exactly what you want, the rug doesn't move at all, its been down since Oct 2025.....so being the end of June 2026, that's awesome. No ripples to trip over, no corners curling up. Worth the money.

Holds well
This is good quality tape that is holding my carpets and rugs down perfectly. It was easy to cut using a knife as instructed and the backing paper was easy to remove. The only difficulty was removing the outer cellophane as it had stuck to the side of the roll. Very strong and good value

Very effective
A bit fiddly to cut but now its in place its working brilliantly. Used to secure some protective carpet mats to matching wool carpet, very pleased with the result

Strong, bonding product.
Used to fix a large bedroom rug in place. I started trying to tape down only the corners but found it better to tape it fully down on all sides. This rig has not moved a millimeter in 1 year and has been set inside the door and seen constant traffic. The adhesive is super strong once fully bonded but also forgiving enough if you need to adjust within the first few minutes of setting down.

Very sticky but unable to stick to pieces of carpet together
It is super sticky and easy to cut but the reason why I gave it 3 stars was that I tried to stick an old carpet onto a new piece of carpet together but it would not work. It wasn't able to stick it together and it kept coming off, But if using this to stick a piece of carpet to a floor that is wooden, marble, etc then it would do the job!.

Very good tape for carpet to rug!
Used on carpet to hold a rug in place as it kept bunching up in the middle, I actually didn’t expect too much but this really is great! I put a couple of strips on the carpet underneath and then firmly pushed down the rug and it’s stayed fully in place and is going nowhere!

Incredibly strong hold – keeps rugs planted!
I bought this tape to secure some area rugs that kept sliding around on my hardwood floors, and I am honestly impressed by the grip. It anchors them down completely—even with my dogs running over them, the corners don't lift or shift at all. A helpful tip for application: This stuff is extremely sticky (which is good!), but it means you have to be careful when peeling the backing. I found it easiest to stick the tape to the rug first, press it down firmly, and then peel the paper liner off slowly just before flipping it onto the floor. If you try to do it too fast, it can stick to your fingers or itself. It’s also thin enough that you don't feel a "bump" under the rug, which was a concern of mine. If you need a heavy-duty hold for high-traffic areas, this is the one to get.

Great for attaching rubber treads to wooden steps.
Trying to get my house ready to sell and decided to add rubber treads to my basement steps. When I calculated what I would need for 11 steps, 20 yards ended up being the right amount. I was able to put three vertical pieces on the rubber tread from the back up to where the tread begins to fold over. I added two smaller pieces on the back in between the vertical pieces. Next, I added a 24" piece to the rounded part of the wooden tread. I removed the top part of the tape and then carefully place the treads down. The tape is not permanent unlike a strong liquid adhesive so the next owners can remove by using a hair dryer to warm up with tape. The tape is not super thick yet durable enough to grab and hold onto everything. I just made sure I pushed down firmly when adhearing it to both sides. I used a sharpe razor blade to cut through the tape.
