SMARTRO Digital Projection Alarm Clock for Bedrooms with Indoor Thermometer

This clock was exactly what I was looking for. It can assess internal temperature and humidity you can set it up to go with the clocks. There is a space for a battery so that you don’t have it plugged in all the time for back up power as well as for travel. It stores the time and date so a battery is a good idea if you’re wanting it to keep the time. It is accurate functional and exactly what I was looking for I love the little feature that the brightness is just tapping the top as well as the news feature. There are two separate alarm clocks you can turn on physically so you can physically tell whether or not they are on. The brightness is the same as the snooze button so you can turn the back light on the display completely off for those who do not want to have blue light at night. it’s simple easy to use and perfect for me. Also bonus I love the fact that you can change the direction that the projector is projecting. You can kind of move the little arm, but you can also tap a button on the back that will turn in four different ways the clock direction. This was not given to me by anyone I purchased it. And no one is paying me for this review nor did anyone direct me to this product I found it on my own. Man, it’s sad. We have to live in a world where you have to say that but, we do.

So the clock overall was smaller than I expected. Looked at lots of units, and was mildly surprised this one didn't have auto set but that's not a problem for me in fact sometimes it's an advantage bc my autoset ones occasionally just go weird and you can't fix it. So, that's OK. Put in battery backup, and I'm good if the power goes out. Easy and intuitive to set. Alarms are clear switches so you won't accidentally have one on. And there are 2 if 2 people need alarms. The temp and humidity seem pretty accurate. I like that the screen can be bright in day and with an easy touch go totally dark at night. The projection can switch directions and is bright enough and in focus but it is SMALL. MUCH smaller than other projection clocks I've had. I read this in the reviews and thought well, these people just didn't know how to adjust it. Well, it turns out they were right! There really is no adjustment on the projector aside from flipping direction. My eyes are OK with this - my spouse's eyes... not so much. I'd say from a distance of 4 feet to the ceiling the projection size is maybe 3" high? maybe only 2. It's not the 10" numbers I'm used to. So, it's OK, and I'm keeping it because it meets all the other specs I wanted - temp, humidity, date and day, goes dark etc. but the projection size is definitely something that could be a show stopper for a lot of people.

I absolutely love this alarm clock. I bought it to use at the fire station, and it works great for a few reasons. First, the projection is nice so that you don’t have to roll over and pick up your head to see the time. Second, the backlight has 4 settings, and the two brightest ones work well as a night light. The other thing I like is that it has 2 alarms you can set, and the snooze button is on top and it’s just touch sensitive, not an actual “button.” The best feature is how the alarm sounds. It starts off with a series of single beeps spaced about a second apart, then after a few of those it goes to double beeps, the triple beeps, then constant beeping. This is especially nice because I’m a pretty light sleeper so I usually wake up and hit the button after the first or second beep, allowing me to get the alarm shut off before it has the chance to wake anyone else up. The only downside is that the USB plug doesn’t seem to charge my phone. It works great charging my headphones, but it doesn’t charge a cell phone. Other than that it is awesome, and I’m thinking about buying one for my house as well.

What I like: - The red projected numbers are bright and easy to read even with a tall ceiling. I was looking specifically for red projection to reduce blue light at night known to disturb sleep and disrupt melatonin production. - The projection feature can be reversed if you want the numbers behind the clock. - The front display is adjustable from very bright to dark at night. It is also easy to read. - The clock function is very easy to set up. You don't need a big book of instructions. - The added functionality of a USB fast phone charger is a welcome feature. - The clock unit is small taking very little tabletop space. It's somewhere between a pack of playing cards and a cell phone in size. What I don't like: - The clock is very lightweight and easy to move out of position when connecting the phone charger. I have to adjust the clock position each night. I'm thinking about velcro to hold it in place. The bottom line for me is that it wasn't expensive and worked exactly as I wanted. That seems to be rare these days.

Love this! I often wake several times in the night, and the display on my ceiling is readable without my glasses. I rarely use an alarm, but it's not too loud or too quiet to wake me when I do. I highly recommend it. One of the great features is being able to adjust the display by 90degree increments.

The biggest issue I have with this clock is you cannot make the projected time straight across, it's always out of 45 if you turn it enough to make it straight across your bed when you look up at night and you can't see the clock from other parts in the room. One of the issues that might make a difference for some people that work glasses the the numbering is small bigger numbering would help people to be able to read the time. Other than that it works well I like the low bright on the display on the actual clock and the temperature.

The projection is large and clear, easy to read.

I use it in my RV, I put it on the dresser at the foot of the bed. The projector is powerful and easy to see at night. But the clock screen is a little small and harder to see from afar.
