Worked like a charm on a 1.8L Chevy Sonic
Did timing on a Sonic with the 1.8l. I used a rubber band to hold the intake side cam tool while positioning the exhaust side. Once on, just cut the rubber band. Rear Cam holder bracket fit perfect. I didn't use the drive belt tensioner tool but I'm sure it works. Timing pin for the timing tensioner worked perfect as well. Great kit for the money. Engine runs great.

Worked on my 2009 Chevy Aveo5 [1.6L]. Wooo!
Used the cam chocks on my on my 2009 Chevy Aveo5 [1.6L] for timing belt / tensioner / idler replacement. Did not need to pull the valve cover off / did not need the rear cam locker. Car is running strong.Used these components: toothed cam chock + tensioner locking "pin" [the one with the loop on the end].Watched numerous installation videos and read many accounts on the Aveo forums before attempting this. I was a VW tech 40 yes ago, so I have done a few VW timing belts prior.

Fits 2014 Chevy Cruze 1.8L
I got this because it looked just like the one in the how to video I watched. Amazon gave me a warning that it does not fit a 2014 Chevy Cruze and gave me a suggested similar product that didn’t look anything like the one I saw in the video. I used this one and it worked perfectly. Quality tool kit made with metal parts all around.
