These husks are a game changer! I have been living in NC for 5 years making tamales and for 5 years I could not find clean, beautiful, non moldy, husks since leaving Cali. Excited my money is finally spent on high quality husks for delicious tamales to enjoy and to gift! They look and smell so fresh!

Used these for tamales, they smelled a bit like vintages but I rinsed them really well in hot water. The husks were a good size and I would say there was ~50 of them. I made 38 tamales and had enough leaves to cover them during steaming as well.

These came to me wet in the bag with mildew growing on them, and there was even a bug in there. Which was shocking. These are not refundable, and I can’t return them. They smelled funky too. It was a giant waste of money and very disappointed. I just bought the parchment paper kind instead.

Worked out great for me. I did not find any mold as others have commented on.

These husks arrived damp, so we immediately laid them out on a counter and allowed them to fully dry, before returning them to the bag the came in. If you do not do this, they will definitely spoil and get moldy.
