Kitsch Luxury Large Shower Cap for Women - Leopard

I absolutely love this shower cap! The Bridgerton pattern is beautiful and elegant, adding a little luxury to my routine. The satin lining is soft on my hair, comfortable to wear, and helps protect my curls from frizz. I've been eyeing Kitsch shower caps for ages but hadn't decided on a print or prioritized the purchase. Though I don't watch the show, the Bridgerton collab was a pretty enough floral to get me to take the plunge and I'm glad I did. It's easier to secure your hair properly than with a traditional showercap and is quite waterproof. All in all an upgrade for my shower routine. My bangs don't get crushed like they do with a headband and I'm not trying to tuck stray hairs in like with a regular cap. The elastic is snug on my hairline; I do tend to have a faint impression of it from my forehead even after a 10m shower but I haven't felt physical discomfort. The satin is tightly woven and pretty. I've had other fashion headpieces that use similar wire and it's resilient for being bent and unbent repeatedly, though it'll hold some kinks along the length. I think the instructions said to roll the open edge forward to seal it after you get your hair in; I would definitely encourage rolling towards the back so you don't create a little valley for water to hang out. Looking at the various product photos, it would seem they may have streamlined the design for the collab style compared to the original.

Thought I would try this after seeing it in an ad. Surprisingly works well regardless if hair length or texture. Elastic is snug and the part that you roll your hair up works without clips or pins. Love the pattern, too. Really does protect your hair from frizz during showers. Great purchase!

Very cute. The wire closure is a clever idea, though I’m not always able to roll the excess cap material in a way that feels 100% secure. However, I still haven’t had any issues with my hair getting wet, except for pieces in the front, though that’s more to do with my head shape/hair type than the cap. Really like being able to pull it up from my neck, like you would a headband, as this works better for adjusting the cap than standard ones. Would recommend.

I bought this shower cap in January, 2024, and just repurchased it this November, 2024. The photos are from my original purchase to highlight what you can expect over time with this product. Photo 1 shows some fading from the gold colored spots to a red brick color; I’m completely fine with this because I think it still looks pretty. Photo 2 is the back of the cap, a gummy adhesive has come off which allows the cap to seal and stay in place. Photo 3 shows the gummy adhesive is still in place but it is loose; because of these two issues the cap is in need of replacement because it doesn’t stay in place and slides onto my forehead when in use. With all that being said, this was the 2nd shower cap i’ve ever purchased. I love this one because it doesn’t leave a harsh line across my forehead after use because the design is that it sits and stays high enough on my hairline. It keeps my hair dry while showering, dries completely in between use, is pretty to look at, and easy to use. I love it and that’s why I repurchased it. However, I do not agree with the price since I will have to buy it again in 11 months. I did put it through the washing machine maybe a handful of times and hung it up to dry. Maybe I won’t do that this time and see if the gummy adhesive stays in tack.

I could sing from the rooftops about how much I love this shower cap, which is kind of silly. I had my eye on it for awhile, but wasn’t sure if it would be worth the money. My only regret is that I didn’t order one sooner. It’s easy to use and it makes me feel so secure. I know that if I have this on, I don’t have to worry about any of my hair getting wet. I wear 22 inch sew in extensions, based on this, I think I have more hair than the average person and I have no trouble fitting all of my hair into this. I think this would work well for someone with very thick or long hair. The design is cute too (pink checker), not that anyone ever sees me in it. I have been using this for maybe about a month and it has held up well so far, but only time will tell. The only con I can think of is that it takes up a lot of room to store in my small shower. Overall, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to disposable shower caps ever again. I used to always worry if all my hair was covered, or if it was going to slip off. This one is study and secure. 5/5!!
