Opening the package I got what I remember as the smell of "canned vanilla icing" you buy in the grocery store. The mallows are not uniform in size, so what the package calls a piece is subjective at best. The texture on the outside is that of a marshmallow, but where they are cut from each other they look spongy. The taste is pretty good for this type of product. I am impressed. I feel like products like this have come a long way. Also, wanted to note that I did put one of these in a cup of coffee and it did melt. However, where it melted along the side of the cup it remained. Not sure if you ever had "rice mallow" before, but that is the consistency of the melted product. As stated before, taste was really good, nice vanilla-y taste, and no after taste at all. I though that it was weird to see a product like this made with xylitol, but it was good. Would buy the Lightning Vanilla again. There is another flavor that I would like to try as well -- it has something to do with being burnt but I can't remember the name. Also, keep in mind what this product is. It is a replacement for regular mallows, so it's not going to be 100% the same. If you go into it with these things in mind, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Not only did the seller get these to me way quicker than Amazon estimated, they left me a nice note in the box... who does that any more? So sweet! The marshmallows do have a spongey texture for those of you who are texture folks, but they didn't bother me in the slightest- I loved them! I didn't get any aftertaste, and while popping on in the morning gave me some pep to get started, having one at night didn't keep me up until 2 AM either. It's a reasonable amount of caffeine. 10/10 absolutely buying these again... these are now a staple in my house. :)

You will not be fooled by these, they are a lot chewier than real ones and tougher. Obviously, don’t have the sugary goodness either. However, for those of us that can’t do sugar, it’s an ok substitute!

They nuke easy, and get all melty and make perfect fluffer nutters. Don't overdo it tho, they spread out more than expected. I was having a major craving for a fluffer nutter, but I am on low carb. Enter these bad boys, craving gone and my sugars are still good. Whoo hoo! Oh don't eat them too late at night, and keep them away from your kids!!! They will eat them all and then stay up all night!

The flavor was ok, nothing exciting, in my opinion. I ordered these because sugar-free marshmallows are pretty impossible to find. They have the consistency of a makeup sponge which was really difficult for me to get past when I tried them. The flavor is slightly vanilla-ish with a slight chemical aftertaste but it's not too offensive. They held up well for rice crispies using Highkey cereal so I would buy them again just to hide them in the crispies, haha.

These are so good. When you have to be sugar free, you crave marshmallows. These for me are perfect. Good taste, good consistency. Love these. I put one of my bags in a fruit basket for a friend that is a diabetic. Can’t wait to hear if he feels the same about them as I.

This is the worst attempt at a sugar free treat I’ve tasted in my many years of not consuming refined sugar products. Zero taste and such a odd texture... I had to spit it out. What a waste of $27 and the vendor offers no refund for their awful product. I will purchase nothing from this vendor again. I feel taken advantage of based on their poor customer service and the product.

My fave Keto snack along with High Key chocolate turtles. Energy up and tasty treat but the MCT oil is suspicious for ME as I'm Carnivor-ish by necessity and too much of seeds and plants causes severe IBS and anemia in my body. So it's proteins and fruits for me they work best. Glycine is a great sweetener to go with my diet, helps muscle aches and pains. This has NO cane sugar etc.
