Unlike the young woman who posted pictures (I think those photos did more for this product than all of the company's advertising!), I do not have naturallly large lips. My lips are fairly thin which was always OK for me but the effects of aging are very noticeable. I just wanted something to restore some of that natural volume. I saw a magazine article ranking readers' picks for best lip plumpers. This was #2 but since I wasn't looking for color it was my first choice. At the time it was out of stock everywhere so I tried #1, Avon's Beyond Color double retinol Avon Beyond Color Lipstick Plumping Uptown Pink Double Retinol Spf15 Gag. That was awful (see review). When this Too Faced product became available I ordered and have been using for a few weeks at least morning and night. I am very pleased with the results. Yes, it does sting but now I barely notice it. I imagine it will sting more for some people than others. And it does exactly what I wanted. My lips showed some smoothing and filling at first use. What really surprised me was the fact the it has a lasting effect. I expected this to be purely cosmetic (ie, any effect disappears as soon as you wash it off) But now my lips look more like they did twenty years ago even before I apply it in the morning. After reading other reviews, I am careful to apply a lip balm over it after it absorbs to avoid "stinging" my husband. This product won't erase the effects of time or give you Angelina Jolie lips; but, it definitely gives a little boost.

I've been buying these for months now, I am on the 6th one and I will keep buying it. It really plumps up your lips as described, and it does tingle quite a bit (which I like. by the way!) However, you need to re-apply every 4 or 5 hours because it does not last the entire day, but just a couple of strokes with the brush will do the trick.

I buy this product about once a month, and I'm always amazed that it has such a low rating. I have been using it for five years and it has returned a more youthful plumpness to my lips and reduced the appearance of fine lines around the edges. It has not significantly increased my pout, but it's made my lips look like they did 10 years ago. As mentioned, I've been using it for several years and I apply it as a lip gloss several times a day. I've found it to be moisturizing overall, but I do remember some irritation when I first started using it. If your lips turn pink or red or you feel more than a mild tingling, you're probably allergic to one of the ingredients. My only complaint is that it's super expensive, but I'm willing to pay for the results.

Doesn’t really plump that much but at least it doesn’t burn like he double hockey sticks. I wanted something dramatic and bought something at Ulta that didn’t work AND burned so bad it hurt to eat or drink. This product plumps a little not a lot but doesn’t burn, I’ll take it

Very disappointing. I paid $28 for this lip plumper expecting at least some noticeable plumping effect, but it did absolutely nothing for my lips. No visible difference whatsoever — my lips just looked wet, like I had applied a regular clear lip gloss. For $28, I expected much more, especially considering all the hype around this product. In my experience, it was a complete waste of money. I definitely would not purchase it again.

The Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme definitely delivers a noticeable plumping effect, but it comes with a strong tingling (almost burning) sensation that might not be for everyone. The formula is glossy and hydrating, which I appreciate, but the results are temporary—don’t expect long-lasting fullness. It works best as a quick boost rather than a long-term solution. The biggest downside is that it can be a bit irritating, especially if you have sensitive skin. Also, the price feels a little steep for the results. If you’re looking for a fun, temporary plumper, this is worth trying, but don’t expect dramatic or permanent changes!

I thought for sure this would be a waste of money, I fell for a scam. It says it may take some time to work. Here we go. Wow. ONE TIME. That's all it took. It does tingle a bit; but it literally took my super thin lips and plumped them up. I only tried it once and honestly forgot about it. The next day when I did remember to look in the mirror they were still plumper. I'm always in that 5% that doesn't get the benefit of the other 95% that "see a noticeable difference" in whatever the product is. Everyone is different, I get that. What works for you just doesn't on me. That's the norm. So this is such a gift for me. I was taken back at a recent zoom meeting- I looked like Fred Munster with no lips. I kept resting my chin on my hands to hide them. I'm no beauty queen but I do have ar least a liitle vanity at my age. I'm a permanent customer.

I normally love the Too Faced Extreme Lip Plumper line and this works just as great so in terms of plumping, it gets a 5. But the colour? It's barely noticeable. It looks almost entirely clear.
