-------------------- Natural alternative insect spray for garden plants? ------------------------------ I read online that some people use a diluted solution of Rosemary oil as an insect control for spider mites. Spider mites are members of the Acari (mite) family Tetranychidae, which includes about 1,200 species. They generally live on the under sides of leaves of plants, where they may spin protective (very fine web) silk webs, and they can cause damage by puncturing the plant cells to feed.Spider mites are known to feed on several hundred species of plant. My Star Jasmine garden plants had some spider mites that caused the leaves to drop after taking a bronze appearance. The plants had a very fine spider webbing which is common for spider mites. 2 months later, the plants have new leaves and look much better. I use a hand pump sprayer Solo 420 2-Liter One-Hand Pressure Sprayer to spray the plants with a solution that seems to cure my insect problem on the Star Jasmine plants. Fill pump sprayer with water add 1 teaspoon of rosemary oil and 1 teaspoon of Bonide Products 211 All Season Horticultural OIL Spray, 1 Quart . I spray the plants every other day for 2 weeks (to get the problem under control) then once a week or once every other week for the remaining season. (Always read entire product label before use) PLEASE NOTE: Spider mites are very hard to get rid of, the insects prefer dry conditions and reproduce once or twice a week. ALWAYS READ ALL product instructions and caution labels for all items prior to using and keep all products away from children and pets. Test area to make sure no negative reaction is visible. Each garden problem is unique and each person/adult should use the best alternative for "their" garden problem -- I recommend researching online before use, always use common sense, use at your own risk and always caution when using ANY products for the home/garden. I LOVE ALL THE NOW ESSENTIAL OILS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED. THIS IS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH ROSEMARY. AT FIRST THE SCENT ASSAULTED MY NOSE, BUT WHEN I RUBBED IT ON MY HANDS AND CUPPED MY HANDS OVER MY NOSE AND TOOK A DEEP WHIFF, IT WASN'T AS BAD AS I FIRST THOUGHT. NOW I CAN'T BE WITHOUT IT. I USE IT EVERYDAY. AFTER I FINISH APPLYING MY MAKEUP, I PLACE ONE DROP OF ROSEMARY WITH TWO DROPS OF A CARRIER OIL, RUB MY FINGERS TOGETHER AND THEN I PAT THIS MIXTURE ALL OVER MY FACE TO SET MY MAKE UP. THE WONDERFUL AROMA PUTS ME IN THE MOOD TO GO TO WORK AND MY FACE HAS A DEWY FEEL TO IT. I ALSO APPLY ROSEMARY WITH CASTOR OIL ON MY SCALP TO HELP WITH HAIR GROWTH, AND I PLACE A FEW DROPS ALONG WITH PEPPERMINT TO MY DIFFUSE TO GET A RESTFUL NIGHT'S SLEEP. I HAVE A BOX FULL OF NOW ESSENTIAL OILS, I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM AND I HAVE MANY MORE ON ORDER. I USE TEA TREE OIL AND A CARRIER OIL AS MY DEODORANT - IT WORKS - I LIVE IN FLORIDA, SO I CAN ATTEST TO IT'S EFFECTIVENESS. NOW PRODUCTS ARE VERY AFFORDABLE AND GOOD QUALITY.

The oil I ordered it seems perfect. Did you know that Rosemary oil if used twice daily is said to regrow your hair? I will among other things give it a try. Thank you.

This rosemary oil is really good quality and smells fresh and natural. I’ve been using it for hair care and aromatherapy, and it works great when mixed with other oils. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. The packaging is nice and secure, and I appreciate that it’s 100% pure. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the scent is quite strong, so you have to be careful not to use too much. Overall, a solid product that I would definitely purchase again

I love peppermint scents and I was sadly disappointed to find out that those scents are not animal safe. Rosemary is animal safe and it does somewhat smell like peppermint. Very refreshing!

ONLY CONCERN of this product was that I dropped this my second time using it and the lid just split into pieces and I lost half the oil. The bottle is glass but it was a STRONG glass and was not damaged, only the PLASTIC lid. I use this on my hair every month along with NOW Foods Almond oil, NOW Foods Organic Jojoba Oil, and NOW Solutions Caster Oil. My hair has grown three inches in two months, probably would be even longer if I did it every week like I originally planned. I get lazy though and do it maybe two times a month?? I have had these oils for two months now and started using them the first day I got them. Haha, it even kept the mosquitoes away when I was by the campfire, because the smell lingers in your hair, and is VERY strong. All I do is mix all the oil together and heat them up by sticking them in a container and placing in hot water NOT BOILING!! Then I massage all over my scalp and hair, paying close attention to my ends, as I have split ends. Then I braid my hair and sleep with it in, then wash it out in the morning. Your pillow will become almost greasy as it is oil, but all I do is put a towel or something over my pillow. :D

Yo en un masaje de cuerpo completo gasto 10 gotas. Mezclo con aceite de semilla de uva. Ya me gusta mucho esta marca y seguiré comprando.

This oil is made with the leaf of the plant which gives it a better quality. I like the aroma is not overbearing and have used it on my hair to prevent hair loss. So far it has been amazing for this purpose and I highly recommend this brand.
