Luxillia Magnetic Eyelashes with Applicator Kit - 7 Set Natural Eye Lashes

TLDR: I am obsessed with these lashes! I've tried a bunch of brands and these work as long as you FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and I will definitely be buying again as they are so affordable for everyday use! First of all: The negative reviews about "false advertising" are user error. The two videos I've watched so far - the users are pulling the whole magnetic strip and the lashes stuck to the strip off the plate and trying to stick that on their liner. Since the magnets are already stuck to the strip that was supposed to stay on the tray, they obviously won't stick to the liner lol. These users also aren't letting the liner dry all the way or putting two coats, as the instructions say. That said, follow the instructions and they work! I started this magnetic lash adventure way later than most - mainly because I have super sensitive eyes and mascara is a major eye irritant for me. I was finally fed up. Also, I'm a cryer. Also, it flakes off into my eyes and waterproof mascara isn't 'tear proof' so I was always messing up my mascara and my eyes were super unhappy with constant mascara 'crumbs'. The LINER: this liner is stinky - but it WORKS - and the smell subsides as the day goes on. Now, two weeks in, I only notice it when I first apply it. If you are sensitive to smells - this may not be the kit for you. If I have a headache, this liner is a no on those days for sure. If you can stand the smell for a bit and get used to it - it's totally worth it. It is a truly liquid liner with a tiny brush applicator wand and they send you a good amount,. I found it somewhat easy to hold during application. I'm used to eyeliner pens like CVD tattoo liner - there's definitely a learning curve with a brush liner for me - if you are used to a brush liner liquid or gel, you are already in good shape! Paint it ONLY where you need it - right on your lash line. Go do other makeups and things for a few minutes, come back and do second application and again, go do stuff for few minutes while it dries. I probably wait about 3-4 minutes in between applications. If you want wings or a thick line - I would not waste the magnetic liner on that - use your regular liner to draw those on after you get your lash-line prepped for the lashes and that liner is dry. You will know it's ready for application 2, or your lashes, when it doesn't come off on your finger when you touch it. It will still be tacky to touch and shiny - but won't come off. Now apply the lashes and they literally snap into place! It's so cool! IF you miss your target, and pull them off to readjust, you might need to apply more liner and let it dry before trying again. If it's super fresh it will pull some off with the lashes - you will need to clean that off the lashes also before attempting again. The LASHES: there is a magnetic strip on the lash tray... just gently pull the lashes off the tray leaving the magnetic strip in place on the tray. You have to really pick and pull hard to get that magnetic holder strip part off anyway. It's not supposed to come off, so don't force it. Just gently tug at the lashes and they will start to peel away from the plate leaving the magnetic strip behind. This is where users went wrong and accused of false advertising. They didn't see that it was a separate piece from the lashes on the tray. The instructions say to stick the middle part to lash-line first, but this being my first experiment with all these false lash kits in my lifetime, I found it easier and more comfortable to line up with my inner beginning lash-line first. Then gently line up the rest. BOOM they snap into place and you are done! These make it super easy to get it on the first try nearly every time after a few daily applications. I'm obsessed and will be back for more! Now... I had Ardell magnetic lashes from Ulta that I was about to return because they did not work. I decided to try those lashes with this Luxillia magnetic liner to see if it was the Ardell lashes/magnets or the New and Improved Ardell liner that was failing on their part and the Ardell magnetic lashes worked great with the luxillia liner (which you can buy separately from the lash kits)! The Ardell's did not hold AS strong as the luxillias and I didn't get as many uses out of them, either, but they did stay all day on the days I used them. The only thing missing with the luxillia brand (other than scent-free liner) is that there is not a whole tray of certain styles available without liner, tweezers, etc. You pretty much have to either buy liner by itself, or buy a whole luxillia kit with new liner, new tweezers, with a bundle of different lash styles - some styles of which I will never use. I would LOVE to see an option to get a whole tray of natural looking lashes because I will never wear these big long glam lashes that come with these kit bundles. I will try trimming them to see if that helps but if that doesn't work, half of the lashes will go to waste on me, personally. In the end, it's still worth it. I highly recommend!

Finally I have found lashes that make me feel almost normal! I have lost my eyelashes and brows (along with my hair) as part of chemotherapy. I have tried regular fake lashes, lashes with adhesive already on them, "magnetic" (but requires base lashes to attach the fake ones) and now these. SUCCESS! The Luxillia lases are so easy to apply, and while I was initially worried that they would be too full and look fake, I actually live them once they're on. And I haven't even done makeup or eyebrows yet! I'm attaching pictures Pic 1 is the packaging, and at the top (not in the package) are two other kinds I have been using..this is for comparison. One set it too short in width and that's the self adhesive. The second is a more natural length, but a pain in the butt to apply and not as full as Luxillia. Pic 2 are my eyes before putting the lashes on. One eye without the magnetic eyeliner and the other with. In this pic, one can see how sparse my current lashes look. Pic 3 is the final look if the lases when applied - though I do not have any other makeup. This shows the fullness and the ease of application. IF I HAD any criticism, it's just that I don't typically wear black liner, so it's a bit of a contrast and I'm moderately worried it was be harsh with my makeup. That said, these ladies went on so easy and felt so comfortable,nuts totally worth the trade off.

I love these lashes. Easy to use and each set lasts a couple of wears. Easy to remove and put on.

Okay hear me out, I'm not a huge reviewer and typically don't leave comments on products, but let me tell you these beauties are gold!!! I bought these to go to New York City for a music festival last September with my sister and wanted something fun to wear while we walked around the city, and went out to fun places to eat. The first night there I tested them while we went to dinner and they were surprisingly easy to put on! As the night wore on they stayed in place and didn't irritate my eyes like some other brands. The next day was the music festival in Central Park and my sister and I decided to try them out again. Both of us quickly placed them and off we went. Here's where things get interesting and why I say the eyelashes are gold. That particular weekend NYC was hit with one of the largest rain storms they have ever had. I believe that day it rained all day, and over 18 inches of rain was reported the night of the festival. My sister and I stood in HEAVY rain for 3 hours to get to into the venue, and then another 2 hours for the festival, before we were so water logged our shoes literally had swimming pools in the bottom of them. Drenched, cool, and hungry we decided to leave after our favorite artists played the songs we wanted to hear. Heading back to the hotel we changed and went to a local Irish Pub. After too many drinks to count, and another 5 hours of dancing, we dragged ourselves back to the hotel at 3 am. At this point the lashes had been on over 12 hours, through what felt like a hurricane, a full night of drinking and dancing, and still were in place!! I now recommended these to friends for weddings and they have absolutely loved them! They truly do stick in place and are easy to use. *Note!! When we used them we applied two thick coats of the liner, letting it dry completely between coats. This is key! Let it dry completely! If you don't it will stick to the lashes and make them clump badly.

I was a skeptic at first about magnetic lashes & liner. I’ve always got lash extensions professionally done. But since the COVID_19 pandemic & salon closures, I have been without lashes. I have been missing the look of longer & fuller lashes. On a positive note, my natural lashes have been given a long break from getting lash extensions every 2 to 3 weeks. I was hesitant to try any type of magnetic lashes, but after much research I bought the type that adheres to lashes magnetically at top & bottom of your natural lashes since I wasn’t comfortable using a magnetic liquid liner. Well, it was a disaster for me. I concluded it was because my natural lashes were not long enough for the top & bottom magnetic lashes to “sandwich” & grasp onto. For those individuals that have naturally longer lashes, it may work for you. My search continued . . . I was drawn to “LUXILLIA” brand of magnetic lashes_&_liner because of the positive reviews & being ranked one of AMAZON’s best sellers. The first time using the liner was a lil’ difficult for me since I have never used a liquid liner & liner pencil is easier for me. For those who are adept in applying “liquid liner”, it will be an easy & seamless application. I have read & seen videos were others have first applied their own eyeliner then the liquid magnetic liner, which I did to achieve a better application. I noticed I needed to apply more magnetic liner to the inner eyelid since the lash started to lift. This was a practice run with my trial use of the magnetic lashes & I didn’t go anywhere outside the house. I showed my husband the look & he questioned me, “why does one lash look straight & the other one curled up?” LOL I responded that it was my first time with application. I’m thinking one side of the lashes on one eye I didn’t quite place them around the curvature of my eye & push them up. Remember, it’s a learning curve for those not used to liquid liner. Removal of magnetic lashes was easy. However when cleaning & removing the liner, “Coconut Oil” works the best. My second attempt with application of the magnetic liner was more of a success! I didn’t apply my own pencil liner this time around. I used a liner brush & applied the magnetic liner by placing a lil’ onto the tip of my brush. Application was so much easier & precise for me. I applied two coats on each eye lashline. I also used a hand_held fan for quicker drying time of the liquid liner. And just like magic, the lashes adhered easily! I brushed the lashes with a lash brush to blend. I showed my husband my completed look & he was impressed. He said the lashes looked good & so much better than my last application. I can successfully say that I wore the lashes for about 8 hours that day without any complications. I really like the 5 sets of various styles & lengths. I will definitely be recommending to my friends. Thank_You Luxillia!

UPDATED:Have since downgraded my review, and gone back to glue on lashes. I love the look of these, but the liner in bottle drys out and gets clumpy super fast. Then I needed to buy new liner. And though they seemed to hold, most days, sometime they would loosen during the day. I can't have this at work. I have gone back to glue ons, which are more reliable for me, as they stick all day. And a bottle of glue lasts much longer before getting clumpy. I can also get glue in clear, which provides a better seamless look in my personal opinion. I am a long time user with glue on lash strips. I consider my self an expert at application. I prefer the Ardel Whispies, Faux Mink Demi size if available. If I can only get full sized, I cut to fit. Nice lashes, light weight, and look natural but better. Couriose to try these. i have tried the full magnetic only lashes, and was not pleased with any. I choose this line, because the magnetic liner should only require one coat. I found the lash pairs pretty, but they are a plastic band type, which makes them a bit heavier and less flexible compared to the Ardel. This makes sense as the magnets need to attach. But does require a bit of manipulation to fit correctly, and I need to get used to the added weight. I find sometimes just moving them some does help the fit and feel. I personally needed to cut some lashes off the back side, as they are to long, and i find they do not fit and stick to the the inner and outer curved edge of my eyes, Cutting some off helps, and they look and feel much better. For me personally, i found I needed two coats of liner to help them look correct. and fit the outer and inner lash edges. This is not an issue, just an observation in relation to my eyes. But does mean the liner "line" must be very thick. Not my prefered look for day wear. I do love the fact you can apply liner, and just let it dry while finishing other makeup. no rush to manipulate lashes on tacky glue. I also like that I can reposition as needed easily, unlike with glue. I did find it took a few days of trying to finally get them attached where they fit and look natural. I found it was easier to apply, using my own long arm tweezers, purchased for lash attachment. I try to wipe it off with my fingers, but still a challenge. I don't really like this. I also find it difficult to remove all liner, even with oil, and cleansing, and a witch hazel wipe down at finish. I am still working this out. A makeup eraser cloth, does help greatly though. But overall, i like the look and application vs glue on. And I can easily change the lashes on the fly, if I want a different look. Time will tell, if these become a preferred option. I will update in a few weeks.

I have blond hair and short/ light colored lashes. I have tried everything. Mascara(even waterproof) tends to end up on my face below my eyes after a couple of hours. I tried glue on false eyelashes once and after an hour and lots of swearing I gave up. For daughter’s wedding I got eyelash extensions ($$$) Although they looked nice the upkeep did NOT work for my life. You are supposed to avoid steam and can’t really wash your around your eyes. This means no hot tub/ cooking over steam (both of which I do regularly) or the copious eye cream I use (I’m getting old damn it) They only lasted about 2 weeks at which point I removed them myself. (Apparently you are supposed to have them remove then ($$) I saw the magnetic eyelashes and after watching a couple of YouTube videos decided to try them. I AM HOOKED! They are so easy to use and feel about the same as mascara or the false eyelashes. They last all day and are easy to remove at night. I like the variety of looks I can get and have used each set multiple times. They needed to be trimmed but that is easy as there are 6 magnets so I just trimmed one off to the edge of the next magnet. My only negative is that I wish this brand made brown lashes as well. Since I am fair even the ‘natural’ lashes are a little dark if I want a natural look. I wanted to add a note about the stickiness of the liner commented on by another review. Yes, it is sticky, (i think this makes the lashes stay on better) but it is dry to the finger touch after a minute. I also have deep set eyes and folds (yup! 58 and counting) but if I put on the lashes and use a brush to tap an a little eye shadow over the edges of the liner it removes the stickiness.

The Eyeliner: - It’s like a paintbrush and is very precise! You can get it very close to the lash line to make it as thin or thick as you want. The liquid is a bit thicker than normal eyeliner which is actually a good thing, you know it’s magnetic and not clumpy! I tried the “felt tip pen” version with this brand and I did not like that nor did it even work. It was more of a glue than magnetic. This liquid liner brush is what you want. You can even use it with other magnetic lashes, doesn’t have to be the same brand of lashes. - I have extremely sensitive skin and practically every allergy out there, where make-up and things like this usually KILL me to wear. This liner has done NOTHING negative to me!!! No reaction!!! - It works best to take off with Vaseline or coconut oil, make-up remover doesn’t quite take it off as easily as those do. LOVE THIS LINER! The Lashes: - the lashbands have 5 tiny yet very strong magnets that are very discreet. This specific set is not particularly the “natural look” and the lashes have that plasticy shine to them. They are durable as I’ve put/pulled them on and off, magnets are durable as well! Read the tips sheet that comes in the box, I had to do an extra “swipe” of liner on the two corners for the magnets to really hold because my eyes have inset corners. I bought this pack to really try out the liner, I’ve researched a lot of liners (like moxie, velour, etc) and really this one or less expensive versions are the best. It’s not clumpy like the felt tips and it is very easy to apply in a jiffy. Obviously the price makes it very worth the try! The tool: The lash tweezers in this kit are the best type! It’s metal with a silicone coating on the end for safe and comfortable application by your eye. The magnets also don’t catch on it which makes it a whole lot easier. Concerns: - No travel case (again, very inexpensive set so that’s what you are paying for) - plasticy look to the lashes (same as explanation above) NO OTHER CONCERNS! All in all, a great product and extremely valuable for the price. I bought thinner, more natural looking magnetic lashes for a quick get ready for my job. If you travel for work, GET THESE and just get a cheap case you can use to store these.

I survived walking miles in a Candian snow storm to my Igloo where I call home here in Canada and let me tell you these lashes did not budge. They did not lift, fly away or remove themsevles at all. They stayed tried & true faithful and still on when I got home to eat my poutine dinner. I 100% would buy these lashes again. There so easy to apply, stay on nicely and my only advice is remove them from the magnets gently after using a couple times or else they will rip. ( I sadly ripped a small tiny piece off the end of my favvy pair) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am SO pleased with this product!! Before purchasing this, I tried the magnetic lashes, the ones where you use an applicator to put one fake lash above & one below your lash. Absolute nightmare, fiddly and frustrating are just not the words! These however are a complete dream!!👏🏻😃 From opening the box & it all being nicely set out, to the perfect instructions(also trouble shooting part included in the info!) inside, I just loved it!😃 The magnetic eyeliner is easy to apply, just remember to keep the eye you just lined, shut while it dries, apply a second coat & leave that to dry too. The black is properly black as well & there is definitely enough magnet particles in the liner to hold the lash. I’m simply super pleased with the whole set! Yes the price is a bit more than some on here but when you read the reviews you find out why!! You get what you pay for & you certainly do with Luxillia!! I recommend this magnetic eyeliner kit totally!! I’d also definitely buy it again, its that good!👍🏻😃 Thank you Luxillia for reinstalling my faith in magnetic eyelashes!!👏🏻😃

I wouldn't waste my money on this brand again. I've been lining my eyes for years with many different brands. This was my first try with magnetic liner... so I'm not sure if they all are junk or just Luxillia. I waited for OVER AN HOUR for the liner to dry. When I applied it, my face was cleaned, dried, and I was in an air conditioner building. But instead of drying, it stayed super tacky and started sticking to my top lid, so much that when I'd blink, sometimes just one eye would blink, and the other would be stuck open. Again, I'm no novice to the eyeliner world. But this was a horrible first experience with the magnetic lashes world. Someone please tell me if you've found a better magnetic liner so I can use these darn things anyway.

I decided to buy these Luxillia magnetic lashes, as my regular lash lady is travelling & I knew I'd not be able to cope for 5 weeks with strip lashes, which adhere using glue! I read the reviews on Luxillia magnetic lashes and thought, why not, lets give them a try! I am amazed at how easy they are to apply and how absolutely amazing they look when applied. Don't get me wrong, a couple of the sets of lashes are rather "dramatic" and for me personally, I'd never wear them, so these are a bit of a waste of money for me. I am not sure if Luxillia do other variations of lashes, maybe individual packs, or packs which only have a more natural lash. I will endeavour to find out! I never find strip lashes easy to apply, I always get caked in glue and they never look like they're meant to look. With the magnetic lashes, you get a little gadget to assist you in applying them to the magnetic lash liner. I have found if I pat them down with the end of my lash wand, it also helps to secure them a little more to the liner. The lashes last all day too. I apply them around 6.30 am, when I get ready for work, and then remove them around 8pm, when I know I'm not going out again. The liner is a little stubborn to remove, however makeup wipes, or any type of makeup remover works, with a little pressure, and then any remaining liner can be removed with soap and water. So, all in all for me, these lashes have been a "game changer" and I would definitely recommend them.
