Sun Zapper Zinc Sunscreen Stick SPF 50+ Light Skin Tone 12g

I recently tried the Sun Zapper Zinc Stick in Light and Dark Skin Tone shades to match my light olive complexion, which varies throughout the year. Here’s my experience: Shade Matching: •Dark Skin Tone: When my skin tans in summer, the dark shade blends seamlessly. •Light Skin Tone: As my tan fades in winter, the light shade suits me well. However, I noticed that while the cap suggests a warm undertone, the product has a more yellowish hue, which works well with my Olive skin. •In-Between Tones: Currently, after a sunny vacation, I’m between shades. I’ve found that mixing both the light and dark shades helps me achieve a perfect match during these transitional periods. Application & Feel: The stick becomes very stiff and sticky when it’s been sitting in a cold temperature, so I usually like to moisturize my face beforehand so that it glides smoothly. If it’s been sitting in a hot area, I recommend applying it carefully by dabbing the stick on your face. Otherwise, it will come out too thick and look super cakey. Overall, the Sun Zapper Zinc Stick is a an everyday product I use as it helps with my Melasma and now I don’t wear makeup 🙂

Love this stuff for surfing because it doesn’t burn when I get water near my eyes like the chemical sunscreens! Stays in place and the tinted effect is wonderful so it’s not so stark white!

Great for noses, ears, any part of the face that is susceptible to sun burn. I live in the desert, and I use it while cycling. It holds up very well to perspiration. Highly recommend for fair skin and outdoor activities.

With this product, I can attain the desired coverage without the stark contrast of a white layer. The sunscreen's tint, though purely aesthetic, does wonders for my confidence and happiness. While it doesn't precisely match my naturally dark tan, being slightly lighter than my tanned skin, it still proves to be a significant improvement over the purely white alternatives. It would be even more beneficial to have darker shade options, and I eagerly await the possibility of such additions. Nevertheless, I remain content with the current option, given its effectiveness and price point. One drawback I noticed with this tinted zinc, which may apply to other colored zinc sticks, is that it tends to rub off on various surfaces throughout the day. Similar to makeup for women, the zinc acts as a covering rather than being absorbed, leaving marks on anything it comes into contact with. As amusingly mentioned by my wife, who playfully calls them "poop stains," the marks are simply a result of the zinc's presence. While this may be a minor inconvenience, it doesn't outweigh the benefits of having a discreet and efficient sun protection solution. I wholeheartedly recommend this tinted zinc sunscreen to anyone seeking an inconspicuous yet highly effective sun protection option. It provides much-needed coverage for sensitive skin without drawing unwanted attention, making it a valuable addition to my sun protection routine. I have already stocked up on multiple sticks. Until a darker shade option becomes available, I will continue to rely on this product for its impressive performance and sun-shielding capabilities.

This is one of the best little tools I ever used! I first just wanted a stick for surfing so i got the green one. I ended up using this in my classroom for when my students went running around the track. I put two strikes under their eye.s & They loved it ! Anyways I bought the yellow one cause I thought it was less of an attention getter I ended up liking it. Then I bought the tan one and saw it was an amazing concealer. Like just amazing ! Then i got the dark one , but my only critique and both a compliment is that its not dark enough so i use it as foundation, but even then i find it a bit too light for my skin tone. That year i bought so many sunscreens trying to find the right one and also tried to find the best make up for my type of pore like skin and this thing did wonders . Ironically found the best sunscreen and make up and it was all an accident. thee best. <3 Please make one a bit darker. I am in love with these

AMAZING!!! Just had neck surgery in December. Was told to keep my scar covered from sun this summer so the new skin has time to come in. Bought this because of the Zinc Oxide...and because it's flesh colored. Goes on easy, blends in with my skin tone and 100% blocks sun from the area. I also put it on my forehead at my daughter's first warm spring college softball game. After 3 hours of 85 degree heat and sun beating down on my lily white forehead, NOT ONE SINGLE SIGN that I had been in the sun. It's THAT good. I bought two sticks, one for my sports bag for tournaments and one in my regular purse. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!!!!

It might provide sun protection but it gets everywhere — on clothes, walls, furniture. One use was all we needed to decide not to use it again. It did come off some clothes with shout and others with repetitive washing. But it clung to the texture of the plaster walls despite scrubbing.
